Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we will take you on an in depth visit to the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. Next we travel on to the necropolis of Saqqara to explore what is considered Egypt's most enduring architectural legacy. After we transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3: Cairo - Lake Nasser

This morning you fly to Abu Simbel where your guide will escort you through this famous site. There is also a bit of free time for you to explore before check into your Nassar cruise. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 4: Lake Nasser

This afternoon we set sail on Lake Nasser, to view Kasr Ibrim. This tour is conducted from the ship’s sundeck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Relax and enjoy the facilities onboard the cruiser. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 5: Lake Nasser

Now for those hidden gems! Discover the Temple of Amada (Lake Nasser’s oldest monument) and Derr, dedicated by Ramses II. We’ll stop at the Tomb of Penout (Viceroy of Nubia), Wadi El Seboua, the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Meharakka. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 6: Lake Nasser

Sip cocktails as we cross the Tropic of Cancer, bound for the Nubian city of Aswan, visiting Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi en-route. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 7: Lake Nasser - Aswan

Welcome to Aswan! After breakfast we disembark and enjoy a trip to the High Dam and Philae temple before check into your Nile cruise to Luxor. Enjoy the remainder of the day free to relax or explore. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 8: Aswan - Nile Cruising

Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 9: Nile Cruising - Luxor

This morning a visit to Edfu one of Egypt's best preserved temples then after passing through the Esna Lock we will reach Luxor - Egypt's open air museum. When dusk draws near this evening enjoy an excursion of the beautiful Luxor Temple illuminated at night time it's ripe with photo opportunities. Lunch, Dinner & Evening entertainment on board.

Day 10: Luxor

Morning disembark and check into your hotel. Enjoy a half day tour or longer entirely up to you of the Colossi of Memnon, Valley of Kings and Queens and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Day 11: Luxor - Sohag

Morning we depart for Dendera temple which is dedicated to goddess Hathor- cow headed woman and known by Goddess of Love. We then continue the tour to Abydos which was the head of god Osiris- the god of underworld and part of his body was buried there according to the legend of ancient Egyptians. After we drive to your hotel in Sohag.

Day 12: Sohag - Minya

After breakfast we drive onward highlights today will be a visit to Tuna el-Garab and see the tomb of Petosiris Temple and Ruins of Hermapolis followed by the amazing rock tombs of Beni Hassan and Tel El Amarna. We then drive and check in to your hotel in Minya.

Day 13: Minya - Fayoum

Today we drive in 4x4 into the desert and visit the valley of Whales which contains invaluable fossil remains of the earliest, and now extinct species of Whale. Tonight camping under a blanket of stars.

Day 14: Fayoum - Cairo

Today we return to Cairo making a lunch stop at Fayoum Oasis which is the largest in the western deserts also we see Wadi Rayan springs and Waterfall and Lake Qaroun to enjoy a felucca ride on the lake. We continue on back to Cairo arriving in the evening.

Day 15: Cairo

Enjoy a tour of Memphis and the Red and Bent Pyramids of Dashur.

Day 16: Cairo

We bid you farewell with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
