Today we will have a full day guided sightseeing, heading out to Giza to see the pyramids and Sphinx. Then its time to head to the Egyptian museum and later on to Khan el Khalili market.
We drive out to Siwa Oasis, taking the better part of the day to get there.
Today you will visit Dead mountain, Siwa house museum and old fortress of Shali, then the oracle temple where you will see the coronation hall of Alexander the great, the ruins of Amoun temple, have a swim in Cleopatra pool, then on to Dakrour mountain (famous for its hot sand, the best place for sand bath) used as an effective natural cure for Rheumatism.
We drive over the highest sand dunes (app.80 M) in the western desert to the east. Then you will get to swim in Abou-Shrouf ,the biggest and cleanest spring, later on visiting Zauton (the old village of Abou-Shrouf) seeing the Roman olives oil press and black Roman tomb, the recently discovered Roman tombs (full of skeletons) and Coraishet spring and Ein Safi.
Today we will head to Bahariyya Oasis, and enjoy a night out under the stars.
Today we visit Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi en-route. The remainder of your day is free to relax onboard.
Morning visit to Wadi El Seboua temple. Dedicated by Ramses II to the two Gods Amon Ra and Ra Harmakis, The temple of Dakka, dedicated to the God Thot of divine wisdom, visit the Greco-Roman temple of Maharakka. Sail to Amada, visit the temple of Amada from the XVIIIth dynasty, built during the reign of Thohotmosis III, Amenophis III and Thohotmosis IV, Also visit the hemi-spocs of Derr and the tomb of Penout.
Breakfast is served while sailing to Kasr Ibrim. Upon arrival at Kasr Ibrim, information is given by a guide from the ship's sun deck, as entrance to the site is not permitted. Sound and light show at Abu Simbel this evening.
Possibility for a second visit to the temples to watch the spectacular sunrise at the Abu Simbel temple. Breakfast and disembarkation. We will then transfer you to the airport for the flight to Sharm el Sheikh and then transfer on to Nuweiba.
It's a very early start as we take you to Mount Sinai for the sunrise and then on to St Katherine's monastery.
