Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt's capital and Africa's largest city: Cairo. Upon arrival you will be met and guided through passport control and baggage collection. After essential airport formalities you will be transferred directly to your hotel for your time in Cairo. Upon reaching the hotel we will assist with your check-in and then the evening is yours to relax and freshen up.

Day 2: Cairo

Today, a visit to the awesome pyramids and Sphinx at Giza Plateau. After we travel on to the necropolis of Saqqara, Egypt's most enduring architectural legacy. This evening enjoy some free time to relax.

Day 3: Cairo - Luxor

After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse and explore. We then enjoy an in-depth tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more. Tonight we board the overnight sleeper train to Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor

After your arrival transfer and some free time to relax we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. This evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore.

Day 5: Luxor

Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day sightseeing. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
