Day 1: Sharm el Sheikh
Welcome to Egypt! When you disembark your cruise we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax for the rest of the day.
Day 3: Sharm el Sheikh - Luxor
This morning a flight to Luxor. After your arrival transfer and hotel check in to relax we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. This evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore.
Day 4: Luxor - Cairo
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our sightseeing. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Free time in the later afternoon before your sleeper train to Cairo. Sit back and enjoy the journey train leaves around 8 pm.
Day 5: Cairo
Welcome to Cairo! Arrival transfer to your hotel right by the Pyramids. After breakfast we head out to visit the famous Egyptian Museum, here you can enjoy a guided tour and free time to browse. We then enjoy a tour of Old Cairo, visit the old Coptic suspended Church and city of the dead, the oldest Synagogue of Ben Ezra, drive to the Citadel of Saladin, and visit the alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and more.
Day 6: Cairo
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau which are the sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World. After free time for lunch we move on to the nearby necropolis of Saqqara which is considered, Egypt's most enduring architectural legacy. This evening enjoy an include Nile dinner cruise with some entertainment on board the perfect end to your Cairo stay.
