Day 1: Cairo

Welcome to Egypt and the start of your journey of discovery through the Land of Pharaohs! Arriving into Cairo airport our friendly local team await to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2: Cairo

Today we tour the Pyramids at Giza Plateau. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. The other two - Chephren and Mycerinus are equally impressive. Afterward we tour the tomb-strewn necropolis of Saqqara, featuring King Zhoser’s step pyramid. After, head over to the Egyptian Museum, home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world.

Day 3: Cairo - Aswan

This morning you fly to Aswan where on arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. This afternoon we visit the Philae Temple and Aswan High Dam. Philae temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was rescued in an enormous UNESCO effort in the 1970s. Due to high water levels in the resevoir created by the Old Aswan Dam and further aquatic drama due to the creation of the mighty High Dam, Philae temple was relocated stone by stone on higher ground on nearby Agilika Island

Day 4: Aswan - Nile Cruising

A short flight down south in the early hours to explore the temples of Abu Simbel , created to revere the mighty pharaonic ruler King Ramses II. Returning to Aswan by noon, you will be escorted to embark your Nile Cruise in time for lunch and welcome cocktails. This evening in your own time head out to the Souqs of Aswan which spring to life in the cool evening air.

Day 5: Nile Cruising

Relax and take in the riverside village views perched on the top deck! While enjoy the facilities and services on board. A stop will be made at the waterside Temple of Kom Ombo.

Day 6: Nile Cruising - Luxor

Having the distinction of being the largest and most completely preserved pharaonic, albeit Greek-built, temple in Egypt, the Temple of Horus at Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, was one of the last monumental temples built on a large scale. An early morning stop is made to view the temple and onward sailing to Luxor. Evening viewing of the Luxor temple.

Day 7: Luxor - Sharm el Sheikh

Today we disembark at Luxor and explore the best of Ancient Thebes; Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut and later Karnak temple. Karnak is a spectacular myriad of sanctuaries, pylons, chapels, halls and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods and to the greater glory of Egypt’s Middle and New Kingdom rulers. This evening you fly to Sharm El Sheikh where on arrival you will be driven to your Red Sea resort.

Days 8-9: Sharm el Sheikh

Enjoy today and tommorow in the Sharm El Sheikh soaking up the sun and dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving or just lay back on a sunlounger on the hotels private beach.

Day 10: Sharm el Sheikh - Cairo

Today you return to the big city, Cairo - Arriving here the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 11: Cairo - Amman

Farewell to the Land of the Pharaohs today with a transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Jordan. Arriving into Amman, meet our local team whom will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 12: Amman

Enjoy an insightful full day city tour in Jordan's capital, including visits to the Citadel, Jordan's National Archaeological Museum, the Roman theater and Folklore Museum, souks and modern city. After take a drive through the fertile Wadi Seer region to visit the Tobaid hall of Qasr al-Abd. The evening is at your leisure to explore the cities dining options.

Day 13: Amman - Petra

This morning moving onward to visit Mt Nebo where Moses was said to of received the 10 C Commandments. After, to Madaba and see the Greek Orthodox Church of St George which has incredible 6th century Byzantine mosaics, depicting Jerusalem and other holy sites. Late afternoon visit to the incredibly well preserved Karak castle en route to Petra.

Day 14: Petra

Get ready to be amazed! All but lost to the modern world until 1812, Petra is a real archaeological gem, full of ancient tombs and ruins ripe for the modern-day discoverer. Enjoy a full day tour exploring this incredible wonder of the world. This evening why not partake on the Petra by night excursion a must do experience but not for everyone, have a read of the 'Enhance your Holiday' page for info.

Day 15: Petra - Wadi Rum

Enjoy the morning to re visit Petra in your own time. In the afternoon we drive to Wadi Rum on a thrilling 4x4 jeep safari to up close to the stunning scenery. Perhaps you would prefer a longer safari or even camel safari instead? have a read of the 'Enhance your Holiday' page for info. Either way enjoy camping in our remote desert camp with spectacular scenery and an incredible night sky that awaits when darkness falls.

Day 16: Wadi Rum - Aqaba

Take in the sunrise over the desert, after breakfast we drive onward to Aqaba - Jordan’s premier Red Sea hotspot and enjoy an afternoon of R&R.

Day 17: Aqaba

Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window to the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you can opt to go snorkelling or diving, to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs.

Day 18: Aqaba - Dead Sea

Bid farewell to the crystal blue waters of the Red sea early this morning. We drive to the Dead Sea. Arriving here, enjoy free time to float in the mineral rich and what is proven to be healing waters.

Day 19: Dead Sea

Sadly your journey comes to an end, we will be sure to transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
