Welcome to Egypt! We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel and check you in.
Today we will take you to visit the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Free afternoon or why not consider our optional excursion to the Unique Pyramids.
Today we will transfer you to Alexandra and check you into the hotel. Rest of the day is free.
After breakfast today we enjoy our in-depth tour of Alexandria. Highlights include the Catacombs at Kom El Shoukafa and nearby Roman Ruins, Pompey's Pillar, Fort Qaitbay, Alexandria National Library and Montazah Palace Gardens.... the list goes on!
Leaving Alexandria behind, we head to El Alamein; we visit the war museum, the cemetery, we head to the coastal city of Marsa Matruh. After touring the city we have lunch. We start a 300km road to Siwa Oasis. Upon our arrival to Siwa, we check in our hotel. Tour the Local Market and the Palm Groves.
Today you will visit Dead mountain, Siwa house museum and old fortress of Shali, then the oracle temple where you will see the coronation hall of Alexander the great, then on to the ruins of Amoun temple here have a swim in Cleopatra pool, then you go to Dakrour mountain (famous for its hot sand, the best place for sand bath) used as an effective natural cure for Rheumatism, Rheumatoid, enjoy the reminder of the evening free time.
After Breakfast, drive over the highest sand dunes (app.80 M) in the western desert to the east. Then travelling onwards you will get to swim in Abou-Shrouf the biggest and cleanest spring (it's sulphured water good for the skin and Rheumatism), later on visiting Zauton (the old village of Abou-Shrouf) seeing the Roman olives oil press and black Roman tomb, then some recently discovered Roman tombs (full of skeletons) on the way back to Siwa, you will visit Coraishet spring and Ein Safi (pure spring), Remainder of the evening free time.
Today you'll return by road to Cairo and head to the airport for the flight to Sharm el Sheikh. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
Open your eyes this morning and take a peek out the window at the magical blue of the Red Sea. Sit back and relax by the pool sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun. Here you opt to go snorkelling or diving to view the amazing array of aquatic life in the nearby reefs for your remaining days in Egypt.
We will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight to Cairo (to connect with your international flight leaving at 7pm.
