Today, enjoy a visit to the Pyramids at Giza, one of the sole survivors from the ancient Greek listed Seven Wonders of the World. In front of the pyramids sits the Sphinx, an enormous statue with the face of a man and body of a lion. We also visit the Solar Boat Museum. Later, we explore the necropolis of Saqqara, with its litany of ancient tombs and famous centre piece, Zhoser’s step pyramid.
Today we will take you to Dahshur and Memphis, where you will see the Bent pyramid, the Red pyramid and the Alabaster Sphinx.
Today we visit Khan el Khalili market, Al-Azhar Mosue, Al Rifai Mosque, Mohammed Ali Mosque and Cairo Tower, as well as Maydum.
Early this morning we take you on an air excursion to the famous Abu Simbel, the rock-cut temple of King Ramses II, the Great Builder. Later, free time to perhaps do some shopping in the colourful souks and markets or simply relax in this attractive town which straddles the River Nile.
This morning a visit out of town takes us to the mighty High Dam – a modern feat of engineering, the by–product for which is Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake! Continuing, we enjoy a short boat trip to Agilika Island for the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. On your return we check into your 5 star Nile cruise boat.
Relax on the sun deck and enjoy the spectacular views and great facilities and service on board as the cruiser plies its course. Today you will disembark for a visit to The Temple of Kom Ombo which is dedicated to two gods, Sobek the crocodile God and Harveris the Sun God.
This morning we visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Later this afternoon you will arrive in to Luxor and when dusk draws near we will take you sightseeing to the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night.
Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we’ll see as we arrive on the West Bank for our day's sightseeing. We visit the valleys of the Kings & Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut & Karnak temple.
We have a second day of sightseeing in Luxor, taking in Ramesseum and Amon Ra Temple, Dendara and Abydos.
Arriving around 2:30 AM, transfer to your hotel and get some rest. This morning after breakfast you will go to visit for an entire day the sights of Tuna El Gabal and Beni Hassan, travelling to El Minya in the evening, where you can enjoy some free time to relax.
This morning you will visit the sight of Tal EL Amarna which will take you all day to explore. We will then transfer you to Cairo.
We start the day’s sightseeing with a trip to the Egyptian Museum to see the dazzling antiquities of ancient Egypt on display there, including the amazing treasures of King Tutankhamen. This afternoon we take a tour of Old Coptic Cairo, where we’ll find the Citadel and some of the oldest Christian churches in the world, including the Hanging Church.
Today we will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Amman. Upon arrival in Amman, we will transfer you to Petra.
Today we explore Petra. Taking a walk through the mysterious siq (an ancient passage created due to a geological fissure) we are confronted by the rose-red facade of the Treasury. Amazing Nabataean and Roman ruins are on tap here at Petra. The intrepid can ascend the many stone carved steps to Ad-Deir better known as the Monastery.
Today you will return to Petra. You will enter by al Madras, with visits to the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasa, Great Temple and the Royal Tombs. The more intrepid can ascend to Ad Deir better known as the monastery. Petra is endless and based on your preference and fitness your guide will show you many amazing highlights within the city.
Transfer to the airport in time for your international flight back home. (International flight not included).
