Spices in Sharm el Sheikh

Day 1: Sharm el Sheikh - Taba

Welcome to Sharm El Sheikh and the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt. Arriving at Sharm airport our local rep will meet you and then transfer you to Taba. Arriving into Taba, check into your hotel.

Days 2-7: Taba

Enjoy your time in the Taba soaking up the sun, dipping in the warm waters of the Red Sea you can opt to go snorkelling or diving or just lay back on your s sun lounger on the hotels private beach sipping cocktails.

Day 8: Taba - Nile Cruising

Today you will fly to Luxor, arriving here our local rep will assist with your check in to the MS Magic I Cruise ship. Enjoy lunch and dinner on board as the boat sets sail for Esna. (Today must be a Monday)

Day 9: Nile Cruising

This morning after breakfast and enjoying the views of the Nile from the sun deck you disembark for a visit to the waterside temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Remainder of the day enjoy relaxing and the services offered on board as the cruise makes it's way to Aswan.

Day 10: Nile Cruising

Morning a visit to the Philae Temple and Aswan High Dam. Philae temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was rescued in an enormous UNESCO effort in the 1970s. Due to high water levels in the reservoir created by the Old Aswan Dam and further aquatic drama due to the creation of the mighty High Dam, Philae temple was relocated stone by stone on higher ground on nearby Agilika Island. The afternoon is free for you to explore at leisure.

Kom Ombo

Day 11: Nile Cruising

This morning you can opt to visit Abu Simbel? Read the 'Enhance your Holiday' section for prices. In the afternoon enjoy sailing on the Nile in a traditional sailing boat called a felucca. The ship then sets sail for Luxor.

Valley of the Kings

Day 12: Nile Cruising

Enjoy the entire day at leisure as the cruise plies it's course to Luxor.

Day 13: Nile Cruising

Today the massive pair of statues known as the Colossi of Memnon are the first monuments we will see as we arrive on the West Bank for our half day sightseeing. We then proceed to visit the Valleys of the Kings and Queens and the imposing colonnaded temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Afternoon at your leisure.

Abu Simbel, Aswan

Day 14: Nile Cruising

Morning at leisure. Later we visit the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods. This evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Luxor temple where you can enjoy a guided explanation of the site and some free time to explore.

Aswan Market

Day 15: Nile Cruising

Your journey concludes today, after breakfast disembark and our local driver will transfer you to Luxor airport for your flight home.
