Welcome to Egypt and the start of your holiday. We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
This morning we embark on a guided tour of the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. We then visit to the famous pyramids and lion-headed Sphinx at Giza Plateau. Sole survivors from the ancient Greek-listed Seven Wonders of the World, the pyramids are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction! Continuing to Saqqara, we can explore the myriad tombs and temples at this site and see Zhoser’s step pyramid - constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC!
Today we visit the St. Sergius Church to See the Crypt where the Holy Family took shelter in one of the Old Church, built on the Ruins of two old towers that remained from an Old Fortress of Babylon. It was dedicated to the Virgin Mary and St. Damian. This evening we will transfer you to the train station for the overnight train to Aswan.
Arrive Aswan and you will be met and transferred to your 5 Star Nile cruiser. After some rest enjoy a guided tour to visit Philae temple and High Dam. Enjoy a short cruise on the Felucca a traditional Nile sailing boat to Kitchener Island.
After breakfast we sail to Komombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple and Edfu. We then sail to Esna pass the Lock and then sail to Luxor.
At over 4,000 years old, Luxor is a living museum. We tour the East Bank, taking in the Temple of Luxor - built by Pharaoh Amenophis III and the magnificent Temple of Karnak. More than a temple, it’s a gigantic and stunning complex of sanctuaries and pylons dedicated to the Theban gods.
After breakfast, we visit the West Bank, Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, & Deir El-Bahari. Later today we check out of the Nile cruiser and transfer you to the Airport for your flight to Sharm el sheikh via Cairo. On your arrival you will be met and atransferred to your hotel.
Today we will drive you to St Catherine's and transfer you to your hotel.
Early ascend to Mount Moses. After breakfast we visit St.Catherine Monastery. Built by Emperor Justinian in the 6th Century to shelter Christian monks. The monastery contains the chapel of the Burning Bush, the Mosaic of Transfiguration of Christ and a Library containing early Christian manuscripts. We then visit Firan Monastery. Later we drive to Taba for the night.
Today we cross the Egyptain Border to Eilat in Israel. Dead Sea/Massada. (You have time to swim in the Dead Sea) Drive to Qumeran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where fround. Proceed to Jericho for a visit and then we drive north through Jorden Valley, Beit Shean, Nazareth, Cana. Overnight in Tiberias.
Today you will be picked up at 9:00am and transferred to the Jordanian border where after immigration formalities you will transfer by public shuttle bus over the border into Israel. Arrive and transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the ancient city of Jerusalem – a World Heritage site. Perhaps take a trip to the Israel museum where you can view rare artefacts including the Dead Sea Scrolls or wander around the bustling markets.
Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, visit Capernaum, Tabgha, Mount of Beatitudes and Golan Heights.
After breakfast we proceed to Acco, Haifa, Caesarea and then to Jerusalem for the night.
After breakfast we visit Mt. Olive, Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church.
After breakfast we visit Mt.Zion, St..Peter in Gallicantu, Wailing Wall, Old City of Jerusalem via Dolorosa, way of the Cross to the Holy Sepulchre. New City of Jerusalem, Knesset, Ein Karem.
