Bayimba International Festival of the Arts

The Bayimba International Festival of the Arts in Uganda's capital city combines music, art and culture in a variety of exciting events that are open – and free of charge – to the public.

The original festival was first introduced in 2008, and due to its success a number of regional Bayimba festivals have cropped up throughout the country. The main festival takes place in Kampala every September at the Uganda National Cultural Centre, and features live music, exhibitions, fashion shows and workshops.
