Formula 1 Grand Prix - Delhi

Formula 1 Grand Prix - Delhi

India’s Grand Prix at Buddh International Circuit promises to bring with it all the usual fanfare with a uniquely Indian flavour. Race practice starts on the 25th, with qualifying taking place on the 26th, followed finally by the Grand Prix itself on the 27th.

With a 150 000 capacity race track designed by German architect and renowned track designer Herman Tilke, (who also designed tracks in Bahrain, China, the UAE, Turkey, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa South Korea and the USA) India's F1 Grand Prix promises to be a world-class affair. Buddh International Circuit also happens to be one of the fastest tracks in the world, with cars expected to reach speeds of around 320km/h. Apart from motor-racing’s usual crop of famous faces, with any luck you’ll rub shoulders with Bollywood’s biggest stars, or at least spot them in the pit lane before the race.
