Perseids Meteor Shower

The Perseids Meteor Shower 2013 hopes to be one of the year's best meteor showers. The beautifully desolate desert world of Wadi Rum, Jordan is the place to be in August this year as up to 50 or more meteors per hour will be visible in the night sky.

Starting at mid to late evening, the night sky above Wadi Rum will play host to the magical Perseids Meteor Shower. Although it is visible in much of the Northern Hemisphere, the clear, dark night skies of Wadi Rum in Jordan are the perfect place to witness this annual event.
