Zagora is 300km south of Marrakech at the very edge of the Sahara desert. Taking place during New Year when things are decidedly cooler than they are in the summer months, the Zagora attracts an international field to take part in this challenging race. Both the marathon and half-marathon start and finish in Zagora, after which – if you have energy at all – it’s time to ring in the New Year!
