All nationalities must obtain a visa for Nepal. On the Highlights of Lhasa, Nepal to Tibet and Nepal & Bhutan tours you will need a multiple entry visa. It is possible for UK, EEC, Australia, Canada and USA passport holders to obtain a visa upon arrival. However in the event of visa refusal at port of entry on the go will not be held responsible.

Please note there is a departure tax from Nepal Kathmandu airport of approx USD$22 (payable by you in Nepal Rupees). Please note that some tours eg Hiighlights of Lhasa, leave Nepal on two occassions so the total to pay will be approx USD$44.

All nationalities require a Chinese visa and a Tibet permit to enter Tibet. It is only possible to enter Tibet from Nepal with a visa issued by the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. If you are undertaking our Highlights of Lhasa and Nepal to Tibet tour, the China visa/Tibet permit will be arranged for you by on the go. You will require 3 passport photos in order to obtain your Tibet permit and Nepal visa and it's a good idea to have a spare one.

All nationalities require a visa for a visit to the Kingdom of Bhutan. Your visa for Bhutan is arranged and procured by our office in India/Nepal.
We require the following information at least 4 weeks prior to your date of arrival in Bhutan:
On the basis of this, we apply for the visa for you to travel to Bhutan. Upon government approval, we are given a Visa Reference Number. With a faxed copy of the Visa Reference Number which we will give you, you will be allowed to board a flight Bhutan flight. Upon arrival (your point of entry) into Bhutan the actual visa will be stamped into your passport.
Whilst the cost of the visa is included in your trip price, the administration fee is now. The visa administration fee is US$20 per person, which is payable on arrival in Bhutan, in cash. You will also need to carry 2 passport size photographs, which will be handed over upon arrival to Bhutan.
