Day 1: Kathmandu

Arrive Kathmandu and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Resembling a medieval city of temples, shrines and living gods, Kathmandu is Nepal’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, a meeting place of a dozen ethnic groups and once one of the most important points on the caravan routes between Tibet and India

Day 2: Kathmandu

This morning we will transfer you to the airstrip to take a scenic flight over the Himalayas and see Mt Everest if the sky is clear. We spend the day exploring the Kathmandu Valley; highlights include the Buddhist Swayambhunath Pagoda and Patan Durbar square, which is brimming with temples and unique architecture.

Day 3: Kathmandu

After breakfast we visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa and Patan City. Situated five kilometers east of Kathmandu on the bank of sacred Bagmati river, the temple of lord Shiva Pashupatinath with two tiered golden roof and silver doors is famous for its super architecture. Boudhanath is among the largest stupas in South Asia, and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. "Little Tibet" is still the best place in the Valley to observe Tibetan lifestyle. Monks walk about in maroon robes. Patan : Durbar Square, Situated in the heart of the city, constitutes the focus of visitors. The Square is full or ancient places, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Chitwan N.P.

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan, about 5-hours drive. Widely acknowledged as one of the finest National Parks in Asia, Chitwan supports a population of a variety of species including Indian one horned rhino, bison, sloth bear, wild boar, deer, leopard and of course the magnificent, if elusive, Bengal tiger. Upon arrival at the Lodge welcome & briefing by the naturalist. After Lunch, enjoy the option to go on a canoe or elephant ride.

Days 5-6: Chitwan N.P.

Today and tomorrow you have a choice of jungle activities including a Jungle walk, elephant ride, canoe ride, Elephant briefing OR Elephant bathing, Village visit OR Tharu Dance.

Day 7: Chitwan N.P. - Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free and at your leisure.

Day 8: Pokhara

Today we visit scenic Pokhara, gateway to the magnificent Annapurna Range, which consists of five mountains over 7200m and Machhapuchare Mountain at 7000m. We drive to Sarangkot enjoying the views and observing local people, villages and farms. This afternoon we visit Pokhara city, highlights include Barahi Temple, Bindhyabasini Temple, Devis fall and Seti Gandaki and Seti Gorge.

Day 9: Pokhara - Kathmandu

Today we will drive to Kathmandu, enroute visit Bhaktapur City, situated at an altitude of 1,401 m, Bhaktapur covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur or "the City of Devotees" still retains the medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated with myriad wonders of cultural and artistic achievements. This enchanting old town is peacefully traffic free and has retained its centuries old traditions, crafts and trades. Bhaktapur Durbar Square is home to beautifully carved Malla dynasty palaces and pagodas and the cobblestone streets, temples, shrines and squares are full of character

Day 10: Kathmandu

Sadly your journey has come to an end, we will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
