Day 1: Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal and the start of your holiday! Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Hotel Harati.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Today enjoy guided sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley. Admire the view from Swayambhunath Stupa, the most ancient of the Valley’s holy shrines, also known as Monkey Temple because of the many holy monkeys residing here. Then explore Patan which has 15th to 17th century, Hindu and Buddhist monuments built during the Malla dynasty. The most important is magical Patan Durbar Square - a complex of royal palaces and temples, and the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. Overnight Hotel Harati.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Today visit The Pashupatinath Temple, the largest Hindu temple and considered to be the holiest of all Hindu Temples and Boudh Nath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in South Asia. Bouddhanath is the center of Tibetan culture in Nepal. Continue on to Bhaktapur or "the City of Devotees" which still retains the medieval charm and visitors to this ancient town are treated with myriad wonders of cultural and artistic achievements. Later see Nyatapola, the most famous pagoda of Nepal. Nyatapola in Newari means a five tiered symbolizing five basic elements - water, earth, fire, wind and sky. Overnight Hotel Harati.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Chitwan N.P.

After breakfast transfer to Chitwan National Park. Chitwan is hailed as one of Asia’s finest game parks and contains many animals including elephants and rhinos, sloth bears and striped hyenas. This afternoon take an Elephant Safari with a Naturalist. Overnight Chitwan Forest.

Day 5: Chitwan N.P.

Enjoy morning and afternoon excursions to Chitwan National Park. The first National Park of Nepal it was established in 1973 to preserve a unique eco system significantly valuable to the whole world. Only a very small part of the national park is used for tourism. The great majority of the land, particularly in the hills, remains unvisited and therefore undisturbed. Overnight Chitwan Forest.

Day 6: Chitwan N.P. - Pokhara

Travel onward to spectacular Pokhara gateway to the magnificent Annapurna Range. Take a city tour to see Barahi Temple built almost in the center of Phewa Lake, Devi's Falls, and another of Pokhara's natural wonders Seti Gandaki river which flows right through the city. Mahendra Pul provides a perfect view of the river's rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow. Bindyabasini Temple, the oldest structure in Pokhara built by Newari traders way back in the 16th century. You have to brace yourself for braving a long flight of steps to reach the temple. Day 7: Pokhara - Annapurna Circuit

Your trekking guide will meet you in Pokhara, drive from Pokhara to Suikhet Phedi the starting point for your trek. From here, the trail ascends steeply through forest and later through paddy fields to the village of Dhampus for your overnight stay. 2-3 hours walk, 5200 feet.

Day 8: Annapurna Circuit

The trail today goes along the ridge to Deurali. Descend through forest again where you will come to the small village of Tolka and Beri Kharka.. From here, the trail descends through scattered forests and villages to reach Landrung where you will rest for the night. 5-6 hours walk, 5100 feet.

Day 9: Annapurna Circuit

After breakfast, the trail heads steeply down towards the river for about an hour. From here, you have a steep ascent through the scattered villages with a beautiful view of the Himalayas to reach Ghandrung, one of the biggest Gurung settlement in western Nepal. Here you will have amazing views of Gangapurna, Machapuchhre (Fishtail), Mt. Annapurna south and other snowy mountians. If time permits, visit ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Projuct) head office, a local museum and village. 3-4 hours walking, 6400 feet.

Day 10: Annapurna Circuit - Pokhara

Today the trail descends down to Seuli Bazar for about two hours and an easy walk for about 2 hours to reach Nayapul via Birethanti (Pokhara-Baglung highway). From here, drive back to Pokhara for a well-deserved rest. Overnight Hotel Meera.

Day 11: Pokhara - Bhaktapur

Travel to Nagarkot which is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear and one of the best spots to view Mount Everest. With an elevation of 2,195 meters, Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and is described by visitors as a place whose beauty endures year round. Overnight Sunrise Hotel.

Day 12: Bhaktapur

Sadly your tour comes to an end today, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
