Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by out local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Evening we will fly back to Bangalore. Overnight Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Kathmandu
Travelling to Kathmandu you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Kathmandu.
Day 4: Kathmandu
Enjoy a full day sightseeing today. You will visit Darbar Square plaza in front of the old royal palace. Afterwards visit Swayambhuth an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley. Later this afternoon you will visit the Hindu and Buddhist stupa of Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhnath Temple. Overnight Kathmandu.
Day 5: Kathmandu
Take another full day sight seeing tour of Bhadgoan also known Bhaktapur, the mediavel city, and Patan city the city of grace and fine arts. Overnight Kathmandu.
Day 6: Kathmandu - Pokhara
Today you will travel to Pokhara home to three out of the ten highest mountains in the world. You will be met and transferred to the airport. Upon arrival into Pokhara you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a half day city tour of Pokhara including Phewa Lake, Devi's fall, Bindebasini Temple & Seti George. Overnight Pokhara.
Day 8: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Travel back to Kathmandu by road today. Upon arrival enjoy the rest of the at your leisure. Overnight Kathmandu.
Day 9: Kathmandu - Varanasi
You will be met at the hotel by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Varanasi by flight. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Varanasi.
Day 10: Varanasi
We enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city where you will walk through the Ghats, Old Park & Kashi viswanath Temple. Later this afternoon you will drive through Benaras Hindu University. Overnight Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi - Khajuraho
Enjoy a sleep in this morning as you spend it at your leisure. Later today you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival you will enjoy an afternoon temple tour of Eastern and Western Group of Temples. Overnight Khajuraho.
Day 12: Khajuraho - Agra
After breakfast, drive to Jhansi Railway station to board the train to Agra. Enroute visit Orchha (includes Sheesh Mahal, Raja Mahal, Chhatri Temple, Ram Raja Temple), later continue drive to Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi Railway Station in time for your departure to Agra. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Overnight Agra.
Day 13: Agra
This morning enjoy a Morning half day city sightseeing of Agra. You will visit Agra Fort, the fort can be more accurately described as a walled city. You will also visit the the Baby Taj often described as 'jewel box'. Ejoy an afternoon at leisure. Overnight Agra.
Day 14: Agra - Jaipur
Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light - quite a contrast to sunset on our previous visit. Later in the day we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandonded only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area. Continiuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'. Overnight Jaipur
Day 15: Jaipur
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Overnight Jaipur.
Day 16: Jaipur
Travel by road back to Delhi today. Upon arrival into Delhi you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
