Upon arriving at the Pokhara airport you will be transferred to your hotel where you have the rest of the day at leisure. Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. To this day, mule trains can be seen camped on the outskirts of the town, bringing goods to trade from remote regions of the Himalaya. This is the land of Magars and Gurungs, hardworking farmers and valiant warriors who have earned worldwide fame as Gurkha soldiers. The Thakalis, another important ethnic group here, are known for their entrepreneurship. OVERNIGHT- Hotel Pokhara Village
An early start as you are driven to Sarangkot enjoying the views of the landscapes and mountains and observing local people, villages and farms. After breakfast visit the thundering waterfall known as Devi’s falls where the Pardi River, which drains Phewa Lake, enters a grottoed channel and sinks underground in a sudden rush of foam and fury. We then visit Tashi Ling Tibetan Village and Tibetan refugee camp. OVERNIGHT- Hotel Pokhara Village
This morning you will be transferred to Chitwan on a tourist bus. Later today you have a half day sightseeing tour scheduled including a village walking tour and a jungle walk with bird watching. OVERNIGHT- Chitwan Paradise
Today you have a full day of sightseeing including an elephant safari, a visit to the elephant breeding centre. Later you have the opportunity to see the Tharu cultural dance. OVERNIGHT- Chitwan Paradise
