Day 1

Saturday. Upon arrival into Delhi, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or independently explore this bustling capital.
Overnight: Delhi

Day 2

This morning, our welcome meeting takes place. We’ll then embark upon a full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Tonight, we enjoy a Namaste Dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Overnight: Delhi  |  Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3

Delhi - Jaipur. Today we drive to Jaipur. Affectionately known as the Pink City because Maharaja Ram Singh had all of the Old City painted a welcoming pink in 1876 to herald a visit by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), it is also the bustling capital of the state of Rajasthan. This afternoon we enjoy a tour of the City Palace and Jantar Mantar - an ancient yet cleverly designed space observatory. Watch out for snake charmers along the way.
Overnight: Jaipur  |  Breakfast

Day 4

Early-risers can opt for a morning hot air balloon ride over Jaipur, and sail over hilltop forts, regal palaces, sleepy villages, and stone carved temples. Then we travel beyond Jaipur to the stunning 16th century Amber Fort - a sprawling Rajput construction, perched on a hillside overlooks the dusty plains below. We’ll travel up to the palace in princely style, aboard Indian elephants (subject to regulations/availability as the elephants are limited to the number of trips that can make up the fort each day). Arriving at the top we'll tour the fort’s well-preserved interior and grounds. Before returning to Jaipur we stop at a cotton weaving house to see a demonstration of fabric dyeing and block printing.
Overnight: Jaipur  |  Breakfast

Day 5

Jaipur - Abhaneri - Bharatpur. Departing Jaipur we stop in the village of Abhaneri to see Chand Baori, which is the largest and deepest step well in the world. This incredible well has a staggering 3500 steps and is 13 stories deep. Then we gain an insight into local village life, visiting Adarsh Vidya Mandir local school (if open) where we operate our ‘Change for Children’ programme. After hotel check in at Bharatpur and time to freshen up we visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll enjoy a leisurely bicycle rickshaw ride through the park.
Overnight: Bharatpur  |  Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6

Bharatpur - Agra. En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, who tragically died in childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols.
Overnight: Agra  |  Breakfast

Day 7

Agra - Delhi. After breakfast we return to Delhi, the latter part of the afternoon is free for you to relax or independently explore the city.
Overnight: Delhi  |  Breakfast

Day 8

Saturday. Our tour concludes after breakfast. Included departure transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Excellent tour, only downside was being unable to really explore old Delhi due to demonstrations (outside of OTG control).

Yousef (tour guide) was extremely knowledgeable and happy to share his experiences and answer any questions we had. Made what I am sure would be a very difficult journey on my own very straight forward and seemless.

Tour was amazing! Highlights were lunch in Jaipur at the stone oven place with the Turban museum and Taj! Yusuf was a great tour guide, friendly and professional allowing us enough time to explore aswell as rest! He made me feel safe amongst the hustle and bustle of locals in the cities. He also shared personal stories with us which really helped us understand indian culture.

I would not recommend going to the elephant village a lot of the group did not enjoy this as elephants were chained up and some being hit on the head with a wooden pole! :(

I wouldnt recommend the bird sanctuary in March as it was pretty empty as the birds have migrated back home. We only saw ducks and 2 other types of bird. Im not a bird fanatic but i would like to have seen more birds considering we spent a couple of hours there,

Hotels were great other than the hotel in Bharatpur i felt this hotel was quite dirty and unhygenic and it was after lunch here that a group of us felt ill at first. The only negative i have to say about the hotels is the electronic sockets. They just didnt work 80% of the time meaning we couldnt charge cameras.

I would definitely recommend the Taj Traveller tour :)

Because it was a short past paced tour we did only brush over some of the palaces, but that is to be expected. Thought the historic & local knowledge given by Vansh was fantastic. Also his personal stories helped us have an understanding of the Indian culture. The Almondz Hotel wasn't very efficient with having towels, soap etc. the key cards would not work the second time & the biggest issue was not only the outside noise but most frustrating was the functions held on the 4th floor that went till midnight & were VERY LOUD! We had to ring and complain a couple of times. The Udai Vilas Palace hotel needed a good clean, the floors and surfaces were filthy. Food in this hotel not as good as others. Our favourite hotel by far was the Mandawa Haveli in Jaipur, even with the power going out 3 times - we loved it! All in all we loved the Tour Guide, the Driver & the Tour. Great short Indian experience & would recommend to others.
