Our full day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi today covers the colourful chaos of Old Delhi and the modern simplicity of New Delhi. This vibrant city is full of forts, monuments, temples, mosques and more. During the 16th and 17th centuries, Delhi was important centre of the Mughal dynasty and the British made it the capital city in 1911. We take in Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, the bustling bazaar, as well as the Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru. In New Delhi we visit India Gate, Rasthrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and Humayun’s Tomb.
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra. Here we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings. We also visit a marble craftshop. Later, we enjoy a the legendary Taj Mahal at sunset. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers. about 3-4 hours
En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. We enjoy lunch at Hotel Udai Villas Palace. In Jaipur, we visit a cotton trading/tailor shop where you can get clothing tailored for delivery to your hotel before we leave Jaipur. about 5-6 hours
Today, you can choose to bolt on an early morning hot air balloon flight over Jaipur. Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we continue to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour. Later we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
After breakfast, we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive. Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. The forests around the Ranthambhore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country's best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger.
After an early breakfast we return to Delhi by train. The remainder of the day is free for your to explore Delhi further. about 6-7 hours

Free time to explore the city on your own. The ‘summer capital’ of British India sprawls along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100m in southern Himachal Pradesh. This was the most important hill station in India before Independence. The famous main street, The Mall, still runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately English-looking houses. Christ Church, Gorton Castle and the fortress-like former Viceroyal Lodge reinforce the English favour.
Morning is at leisure and later drive to Kalka railway station to connect your train for Delhi. In Delhi you will be met & taken to your hotel.
The remaining time in Delhi you are free at your leisure.
