Mumbai or Bombay, as it was formerly known - remains India’s city of dreams. Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. In the afternoon visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple.
This morning take a guided heritage walking tour, visiting the main buildings in South Mumbai, which form an integral part of the cities architectural heritage. Late this afternoon embark upon further exploration of the city, visiting the Afghani Church and the holy Banganga Tank - an ancient water tank built over a freshwater spring under the Silhara dynasty in the 14th century. This evening enjoy a leisurely horse and buggy ride along Marine Drive toward Chowpatty beach.

Morning drive to Poshina which is in fact a tribal region of South Rajastan and north Gujarat states here local tribes have a very distinct and defined culture not really seen in any other location of India they are called Adivasi and Garasia tribes enjoy your time here at your amazing heritage hotel called Darbargadh. Today you will get out and about with local guide to see the culture unique to the region.
Today we continue by road through the Aravalli hill range to Udaipur along the we will make a stop to visit Mt Abu and all it's old buildings and temples we will stop at Bikaner palace for lunch before we drive to Udaipur.
A sightseeing tour of the city this morning, including the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-bari. In the evening we visit the Monsoon palace to take in the magical suns set views over the lake and Udaipur from a high vantage point.
Today we will drive toward Jaipur as it is an 8 hour drive direct it is better for us to overnight in Shahpura Bagh and stay at family household of the royal family of Shahpura. Arrival and enjoy a walk around the village and nearby temple with your hosts.
Morning at leisure before we continue our drive to Jaipur -- Arrive Jaipur and check into your hotel.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
Departing Jaipur we stop in the village of Abhaneri to see Chand Baori, which is the largest and deepest step well in the world. Next, we drive on to the rural village of Perharsar, where we walk the backstreets discovering local life, traditions this is followed by a heart lunch in a wonderful old mansion in Bharatpur before driving onto Agra.
This morning we explore the magnificent Taj Mahal after we head out to visit Agra fort, built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. It contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque, with Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb a marble forerunner to the Taj. When complete we drive straight to Delhi and check into your hotel.
Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
