Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India. Arrive Delhi and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the Hans Plaza for 02 Nights with Breakfast in an Executive room.
Day 2: Delhi
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi in the afternoon. Highlights include a visit to the Red Fort - built by Shah Jahan in the 16th century, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - a marble memorial marking the spot where the great leader- Mahatma Gandhi was cremated after his assassination, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar.
Day 3: Delhi - Haridwar
Early this morning we will transfer you to the train station for your train to Haridwar. The Dehradoon Shatabdi train departs at 0650 and arrives at 1125. Air conditioned chair car. Arrive Haridwar and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the Haveli Hari Ganga. Afternoon excursion of Rishikesh which is the centre for Hindu belief and it is here that the holy river Ganges leaves the mountains and joins the plains. This evening see Aarti (religious) ceremony at Rishikesh.
Day 4: Haridwar
Today enjoy a half day city tour of Haridwar. Haridwar located in the foothills of the Himalayas, represents the point where the river Ganga reaches the plains. Haridwar is an ancient pilgrimage site, held in reverence for centuries. The evening enjoy an Aarti (religious) ceremony at Haridwar.
Day 5: Haridwar - Delhi
This morning transfer to the train station to catch train to Delhi. Train Jan Shatabdi Express departs at 0600 and arrives at 1130. Air conditioned chair car. Arrive Delhi and vehicle for local use. Later transfer to the train station for your train to Mughal sarai near Varanasi. Train Magadh Express departs at 1945 and arrives the next day at 0745. 1st class air conditioned sleeper. Recommend carry packed Dinner from Delhi (not included in the cost)
Day 6: Delhi - Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi and transfer to your hotel. Breakfast on arrival in Varanasi. Stay at the Hindustan International for 1 night with Breakfast (Standard room). Today enjoy a half day city tour. This evening enjoy a visit to River Ganges on rickshaw to see the Aarti (religious) ceremony.
Day 7: Varanasi - Agra
This morning enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges. This afternoon enjoy a visit to Sarnath. (Check out time 1200 Noon). Later on we will transfer you to Mughal Sarai Railway Station for your train to Tundla for Agra. Train Magadh Express departs at 2240 and arrives at 0615. 1st class air conditioned sleeper.
Day 8: Agra
Arrive at Tundla Station. Breakfast on arrival in Agra. Transfer to your Hotel in Agra and stay at the Masingh Palace for 1 night with Breakfast (Standard room). Today enjoy a full day excursion to Mathura and Varindavan. Mathura which sits 58km away from Agra, and is believed to be the birthplace of Krishna. Vrindavan, just 15 km from Mathura, is another major place of pilgrimage. It is noted for its numerous temples - both old and modern. Vrindavan today, is noted for its numerous temples.
Day 9: Agra - Jaipur
This morning enjoy a visit to the Taj Mahal at Sunrise and Agra Fort. Later today we will drive you to Jaipur (aprox 04 Hours). Enroute we visit the former Mughal capital of Fatehpur Sikri. Arrive Jaipur & transfer to your hotel. Stay at the Shahpura House for 2 nights with Breakfast (Suite room)
Day 10: Jaipur
A favourite of travellers, the architecturally flamboyant capital of Rajasthan is often referred to as the ‘Pink City’. Enjoy a visit to the City Palace, the Amber Fort and Jantar Mantar, a medieval astronomical observatory.
Day 11: Jaipur - Ahmedabad
Transfer to the train station in Jaipur for your train to Ahmadabad. The Aashram express train departs at 2045 and arrives the next day at 0740. 2nd class Air Condition Carriage.
Day 12: Ahmedabad
Arrive Ahmadabad and transfer to your Hotel. Stay at the Cama Hotel for 02 Nights with Breakfast (Deluxe room). Ahmedabad, on the Bay of Cambay is the state of Gujarat’s principal city. Given its mix of medieval and modern, along with the coexistence of Hindu, Muslim and Jain communities, it is a compelling place to explore. Enjoy a half day city tour today.
Day 13: Ahmedabad
Today enjoy an excursion to Patan and Modhera Sun temple. 99 kms from Ahmedabad, the 11th century Sun temple of Modhera is easily one of the finest examples of devotional in western India. Built by the Solanki Rajput kings, the aid of donations from the people, the temple features carved torana arches mounted on kirti stambhas (pillars of victory). At Patan you can also enjoy some fine examples of the Solanki period of architecture.
Day 14: Ahmedabad - Goa
Transfer to the Airport in time for your flight to Mumbai. Flight number 6E 244, departs at 0950 and arrives Mumbai at 1100. Take the connecting flight to Goa. Flight number AI 865, departs at 1255 and arrives at 1400. Arrive Goa and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the Casa De Goa for 05 Nights with Breakfast (Deluxe room)
Day 19: Goa - Mumbai
Transfer to Airport for your flight to Mumbai. Flight number 6E 196, departs at 1355 and arrives at 1455. Arrive Mumbai and you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Stay at the Hotel Fariyas for 02 Nights with Breakfast (Standard room)
Day 20: Mumbai
This morning enjoy a visit to Elephanta Caves followed by a city tour. Just beyond Mumbai (and reached by boat) are the rock-cut temples on Elephanta Island. The 4 rock-cut temples are believed to have been cut between 450-750AD. Mumbai - or Bombay was built largely by the British around one of the best-protected natural harbours in the world. Visit the Gateway of India, Prince of Wales Museum, the Kala Ghoda Art Galleries and the vast green Oval Maidan, Victoria Terminus and Crawford market.
Day 21: Mumbai
Transfer to the Airport in Mumbai in time for your flight back home. End of our services.
