Day 1: Ahmedabad - Vijaynagar
We will pick you up from the airport in Ahmedabad and drive you to Vijay Nagar and check you into the hotel.
Day 2: Vijaynagar
Today you will have guided sightseeing of Palitana. The Palitana temples are considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by the Jain community, and is the world's largest Temple Complex. There are more than 3000 temples located on the Shatrunjaya hills, exquisitely carved in marble.
Day 3: Vijaynagar - Baroda
We will drive you through to Baroda (300 kms, 7-8 hours). On arrival in Baroda we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 7: Baroda - Ahmedabad
We will transfer you to the train station for the train to Ahmedabad - train 19109 Gujrat Queen departing at 08:07 and arriving at 10:15. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 8: Ahmedabad
We will take you on a guided tour of the Modhera Sun Temple. The temple dates back to the 11th century. It was established by the King Bhimdev of the Solanki dynasty in the dedication of Lord Surya.
Day 10: Ahmedabad
Own arrangements for flight to Ahmedabad Airport. Flight to Delhi, AI 818 - 0805 / 0930. Own arrangements for transfer to Delhi Airport. Flight to Ahmedabad, S2 123 - 1830 / 1955. Own arrangements for transfer to Hotel.
