Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Enjoy a free day to explore. Later a transfer for your train to Jaiselmer which departs at 17:30 pm. Sit back relax and enjoy the journey.
Arriving at the medieval caravan outpost of Jaisalmer, one of the jewels in India’s crown we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Arrive 11:30 am. Afternoon enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including the sandstone fort which is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city.
Today we have a free morning to explore. This afternoon enjoy a camel ride into the desert to see the rolling sand dunes and enjoy the sun set. Return to your hotel.
An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. After check in we’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.
Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some exploration here and time to relax at our hotel.
Continuing south, we arrive at Udaipur. An oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance. Arrival and check into your hotel.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.
Enjoy a free day to explore this amazing city. Tonight you travel by sleeper train to Jaipur. Departs at 22:00.
Arriving into 06:00 am we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Today we visit the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
After breakfast we will head off to Agra home to of India's most famous monuments - the Taj Mahal. En route we will also pay a visit to the ghostly former Moghul city of Fatehpur Sikri - the fortified ghost city abandoned soon after its construction. Arriving in Agra you will check into your hotel evening at leisure.
After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. Tonight a transfer to the station for your train to Katni. Departs 18:50.
Arriving in Katni at 05:15 we will transfer you to Bandhavgarh National Park. Later this afternoon enjoy your first game drive in the park to see the illusive tigers and other interesting wildlife.
Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. Enjoy 4 game drives over the next two days in shared jeeps.
This morning we transfer you to Katni for the express train to Allahabad departs at 14:40. When you arrive at 20:25 pm we will transfer you to your hotel.

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city to see some of it's key temples and places of interest. Evening at leisure.
This morning enjoy a guided tour to visit the famous Buddhist holy sight of Sarnath which is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final 'NIRVANA’. We then proceed to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and we will assist you to an airport area hotel.
Delhi - Kochi - breakfast. We catch an early morning flight to Kochi today in the beautiful southern state of Kerala. Long famed in the history books, Kochi (formerly known as Cochin) offered refuge to Jews more than 2,500 years ago. The Portuguese founded the first European colony in Kochi in the 16th century. The Dutch quickly followed and eventually, the British. The cosmopolitan mix of cultures makes the city fascinating. This evening we watch a Kathakali performance this evening. Kathakali is the fascinating traditional dance form of Kerala. Overnight - Kochi (B)
Kochi - Munnar - breakfast. We see the elegant Chinese fishing nets and explore the winding streets of the old town, visiting St Francis’ Church, Parsi Synagogue (exterior only) and a Dutch palace. After our sightseeing in Kochi we drive east to Munnar. Munar a picturesque hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations. Located at a lofty height of 1600m, Munnar in South India offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills carpeted with tea plantations. Afternoon is free

Munnar - Alleppey - Keralan backwaters - breakfast. Departing Munnar early we drive to Alleppey and at midday we board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the lush backwaters. Our private rice-boat takes us sedately along the enchanting palm-fringed backwaters, covering a distance of some 20 kms, during which time the boat will glides past local villages and fascinating scenes of everyday rural life. Watch a beautiful sunset over the backwaters and enjoy a tasty meals prepared by the onboard chef, using fresh local produce. Overnight - On Board Rice Boat
Keralan Backwaters - Kumarakom - breakfast. We disembark the houseboat after breakfast this morning at Kumarakom. Overnight
Perched sleepily amongst a tangle of lush tropical waterways known as the Keralan backwaters, Kumarakom is technically a cluster of islands on Lake Vembanad - one of Asia’s largest freshwater lakes. This is an ideal place to relax for the next two days and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is also a wonderful bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres, which is a favoured haunt of migratory birds and certainly worthy of a visit.
Alleppey - Kochi - breakfast. Today marks the end of our memorable journey. After breakfast we travel back to Kochi and included transfer to the airport. (B)
