Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your exclusive voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon why not further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. Day 3: Delhi - Alsisar

Today, we drive to the lesser visited semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Enjoy time for an afternoon walk in the village to see the gorgeous buildings and mingle with the friendly locals.

Day 4: Alsisar - Jaipur

Enjoy the morning at leisure to take in your rural surroundings. This afternoon continuing our drive through the region we pass through the Aravalli Hills into the Pink city of Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon perhaps opt for a journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and thereafter a guided tour of the city palace complex and it’s fascinating nooks and crannies. Day 6: Jaipur

Day 7: Jaipur - Agra

Today on our drive to Agra, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. Arriving in Agra, visit the Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! We conclude our day with a guided tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal allowing plenty of free time to witness the romantic sunset.

Day 8: Agra - Chandigarh

This morning we return to Delhi, arriving here have some free time for a nice lunch then off to the station for the express train to Chandigarh (Seating in AC Chair Car) Arriving into Chandigarh, we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 9: Chandigarh

Our guided exploration today will take in the Rock Garden, Rose Garden and a boat ride at Sukhla Lake. A visit to the Capital Complex will also be made however this is very much subject to getting permission.

Day 10: Chandigarh - Shimla

Taking to the road again we head to the Himalaya foot hills in Kalka the embarkation point for the famous Toy train that will take you up winding precarious steep drops and spectacular views to Shimla. Arriving into Shimla our local representative will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel.


Day 11: Shimla

Day 12: Shimla - Delhi

Today offers free time for you to independently explore Shimla. You can opt to stroll, drop by the colourful Lakkar Bazaar or hike to the summit of Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s highest point. Here visitors are rewarded with panoramic views of the eternal snows set as a glorious backdrop to the sleepy township of Shimla beneath. Hotel check out is at 12 noon, opt for some lunch and pack an evening picnic meal before boarding the Kalka Shatabdi Express at sunset and arriving into Delhi late around 23:00 we transfer to an airport area hotel.

Day 13: Delhi - Bhubaneshwar

This morning we will assist with catching the 07:00 direct flight to Bhubaneswar. Arriving here, meet with our local team for the transfer to your hotel.

Day 14: Bhubaneshwar

Today spend a full day with our expert guide on a sightseeing tour of Bhubaneshwar - state capital and home to more than 500 temples+ that you will get to explore in-depth, many lie in a state of disrepair and many are used for worship even today.

Day 15: Bhubaneshwar - Taptapani

We drive to Taptapani which is famous for a perennial hot spring of Medicinal Sulfuric Waters, located on the State Highways that connects Berhampur with Western Orissa.

Day 16: Taptapani

Today enjoy a visit to the Chandragiri Tibetan Settlement and Taptapani Sulphur Spring Shrine. Surrounded by hills and thick forests, relax and enjoy the serenity!

Day 17: Taptapani

Very early today we drive to Chatikona to visit the bustling and colourful local market of the Dongaria Konch Group, who were once known for their Meria (human) Sacrifice, until it was stopped by the British Army. Later returning to Taptapani, stopping en route to visit the tribal villages Bara Paraja and Sana Paraja Villages. Arriving back, in the evening.

Day 18: Taptapani - Puri

This morning we drive to Puri. Along the way we spend the full day in Janhikuda for an excursion on Chilika Lake, Asia's largest lagoon, which is famous for its migratory birds and endangered irrawaddy dolphins

Day 19: Puri

Spend the day with our expert guide to explore Puri which is blessed with beautiful beaches and famous for its imposing Jagannath Temple and visit the spectacular Sun Temple in Konark, which is a World Heritage Site. The temple was built as a chariot for the sun god Surya and has 24 gigantic stone wheels, 7 horses and many elaborate carvings.

Day 20: Puri - Varkala

This morning we drive to Bhubaneshwar Airport in time for your flight to Trivandrum (13:55 BBI – 18:35 TRV - Via Bangalore) Arriving into Trivandrum, we will transfer you to the best beach in the region called Varkala.

Days 21-24: Varkala

Spend the next days at leisure in this gorgeous coastal setting you can head out to explore on bike or simply relax on the beach the choice is yours.

Day 25: Varkala - Kumarakom

A drive to Kumarakom. Perched sleepily on the eastern banks of the mighty Lake Vembanad in the heartland of Kerala’s famed backwaters, Kumarakom has changed little since the Middle Ages but for it’s string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters. Although right in the thick of a tangle of lush tropical waterways, Kumarakom is technically an island on Lake Vembanad. This is an ideal place to chill-out for a few days.

Day 26: Kumarakom

Enjoy a day at leisure in the backwaters of Kerala.

Day 27: Kumarakom - Alleppey

This morning board a simply furnished private rice boat from near your hotel for a journey through the backwaters journey to Alleppey. Crewed by a poler to push the rice boat through the water, a distance of some 20 kms will be covered, during which time the boat will glide past colourful local villages. As for dining, the on board cook will prepare meals using fresh local produce.

Day 28: Alleppey - Kochi

Arriving into Alleppey, we will transfer you to the city of Kochi. This afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture.

Day 29: Kochi - Mumbai

This morning take once again to sky for the flight to Mumbai. Arriving here, meet our local team who will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 30: Mumbai

Mumbai or Bombay, as it was formerly known - remains India’s city of dreams. Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. In the afternoon visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple. The remainder of today is at your leisure.

Days 31-33: Mumbai

Enjoy time to explore at your leisure or perhaps pick one or more of our insightful excursions to see the citys nooks and crannies
