Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Delhi

Our full day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi today covers the colourful chaos of Old Delhi and the modern simplicity of New Delhi. This vibrant city is full of forts, monuments, temples, mosques and more. During the 16th and 17th centuries, Delhi was important centre of the Mughal dynasty and the British made it the capital city in 1911. We take in Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, the bustling bazaar, as well as the Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawahar Lal Nehru. In New Delhi we visit India Gate, Rasthrapati Bhawan, Parliament House and Humayun’s Tomb.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind its fortified walls. We continue on and enjoy a horsecart or rickshaw ride to the legendary Taj Mahal. Here, enjoy a guided exploration and then free time to take in the romantic sunset.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Hotel Udai Villas Palace in Bharatpur. After lunch, continue to the Pink City of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. In Jaipur we visit a cotton trading/tailor shop where you can get clothing tailored in time to be delivered to the hotel before we leave Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur

Today, we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. En route to the City Palace, we’ll pass Hawa Mahal – the Palace of the Winds. We travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza.

Day 6: Jaipur - Alsisar

Today, we drive to the semi-desert Shekhawati region. The small towns in this region became important trading posts, a lasting legacy of which are the beautiful painted havelis (mansions) constructed by wealthy merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries. Free time to relax and wander through the village.

Day 7: Alsisar - Delhi

Returning to Delhi, the latter part of the afternoon is free for you to relax or independently explore more of Delhi.

Day 8: Delhi - Goa

The tropical allure of the south can wait no longer today! This morning we head off to the airport and catch a flight to sunny Goa. Arriving here, our local driver awaits to whisk you off to your hotel.

Days 9-13: Goa

Welcome to the palm-fringed shores of Goa. A one time Portuguese colony, Goa is truly a tropical paradise. Leave the world behind for the next few days as you watch the sun set over the Arabian sea, sample fresh food and seafood, swim in Goa's warm waters or simply soak up the sun!

Day 14: Goa

Sadly, today marks the end of your incredible journey and we hope it's been more than alright! After breakfast and hotel check out we transfer you to the airport for your onward departure journey and bid you a fond farewell.
