This morning at our pre arranged time we will collect you and take you to the station to assist with embarking the express train to Haridwar. (DEP:-06:50 - ARR:-11:25) Arriving into Haridwar, our local team are on hand to drive you the short distance to Rishikesh. This afternoon our local guide will take you out to see the Ghats (Bathing steps on the river) with there many abundant shrines and then later enjoy witnessing the ritual worship of the Holy River Ganges.
Meeting up with your guide once more, today you will discover many of the Ashrams in the town all of which represent different sects of Hinduism and yoga practice in particular. The afternoon is at your leisure to explore, we recommend you head to Lakshman Jula where you can see the monkeys harassing the pedestrians crossing the bridge which always brings a smile to the face and definitely from the bridge walk up the road the town ends and there are deserted beaches on the river and forest you can wander and enjoy if lucky you will see a wild elephant often spotted in the forested hills here.

This morning there is no rush so relax and enjoy your final morning in this Yoga capital of the world. LAter a transfer to the station in Haridwar for the express train to Amritsar (DEP:-14:30 - ARR:-22:05) Sit back and enjoy the journey as you travel from Himalayan foothills to the plains of India to the desert region in the west. Arriving into Amritsar, our local team are on hand to take you to your hotel. Overnight The Golden Tulip Amritsar.
Today we embark on an amazing sightseeing tour of the city highlights which of course includes the famous Golden Temple. This afternoon we'll drive to the final frontier, Wagah to watch the sunset changing of the guards and ceremonial lowering of the flags. Overnight The Golden Tulip Amritsar.
Today we have a fantastic drive, from the plains back into the mighty Himalayan foothills and to the town of Dharamsala.
Today we have included for you as requested an insightful city tour taking in Norbulingka, the Dalai Lama Museum and the Library of Tibetan Works and Artifacts. (Really there is no need for a sightseeing tour in Dharamsala we would usually recommend a free day to explore and make time to go for a walk in the pine forests outside of town to take in the scenery)
Enjoy the day at leisure to further explore the town independently.This evening we drive you to Chakki Bank station and assist with embarking the overnight train to Delhi (approximate DEP:-19:15 - ARR:-05:45+1)
Arriving into Delhi at 05:45 and our local driver again is on hand to collect you and drop you off at your specified hotel of your choosing. Happy New Years Eve!
