Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive Delhi, included transfer to hotel. Early check in as your pre accommodation has been booked from 4th November.

Day 2: Delhi - Ranthambhore NP

With the morning at leisure, enjoy a later train journey to Ranthambhore. Ranthambhore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Sprawling across an area of some 1334 sq. kms, the park boasts an impressive 10th century fort.

Day 3: Ranthambhore NP

In addition to the Bengal tiger, Ranthambhore is home to wild boar, nilgai, sambar deer and a variety of birds. Tiger spottings are more common in the morning or late afternoon. You’ll have a morning and afternoon game drive today in shared jeeps or Canters.

Day 4: Ranthambhore NP

You’ll have a morning and afternoon game drive today in shared jeeps or Canters.

Day 5: Ranthambhore NP - Bharatpur

After a morning game drive you’ll board the train for Bharatpur - home to Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Rated as one of the finest bird reserves in the world, over 350 species of birds have been identified at the park. During your visit, consider walking or hiring a bicycle rickshaw.

Day 6: Bharatpur - Bandhavgarh NP

En route to Umaria, a stop is made at Agra. Once the Mughal capital of India, Agra is home to the legendary Taj Mahal. A visit is made to the Taj, where you’ll see first-hand, the efforts Emperor Shah Jahan went to in constructing a solid white marble mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. From Agra, you’ll later board the train to Umaria.

Day 7: Bandhavgarh NP

An early morning arrival at Umaria, then the short drive to Bandhavgarh, which claims to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings. You will have 2 game drives today in exclusive jeep.

Up close & personal to a tiger

Day 10: Bandhavgarh NP - Kanha NP

After a morning game drive, we journey to Kanha via a fossil park. Kanha is one of India’s largest parks, covering 1945 sq. km of forest and lightly wooded grassland. This is the land that Kipling wrote so vividly about in his literary classic ‘Jungle Book’.

Day 11: Kanha NP

Kanha National Park has a tremendous variety of wildlife - including the Bengal tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, blackbuck, gaur, swamp deer and jackal. You will have 2 game drives in exclusive jeep.

Day 13: Kanha NP - Delhi

This morning we enjoy a further game drive, before the drive to Jabalpur to board the Gondwana express to Delhi.

Day 14: Delhi

Early arrival at Delhi station, transfer and check-in at your hotel. Later, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi taking in Red Fort, Jama Masjid mosque and the colourful Chandni Chowk bazaar. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of New Delhi. Open and relatively streamlined New Delhi was built as the imperial capital of India by the British.

Day 15: Delhi

We will transfer you to the airport in time for your departure flight.
