The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

welcome to India! We will be there to meet you at the airport and transfer you through to your hotel. This afternoon you will enjoy a guide sightseeing tour of Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur

This morning we drive to Jaipur. In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 3: Jaipur - Ranthambhore NP

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! This afternoon we drive to Ranthambhore. Evening at leisure.

Day 4: Ranthambhore NP

Morning and evening games drives in the park by shared jeep or canter.

Day 6: Ranthambhore NP - Agra

Early this morning we transfer to the train station for our train to Bharatpur 07:20/09:25. Upon arrival into Bharatpur we will enjoy a bird watching tour in the sanctuary. We then drive onto Agra. En route we will also pay a visit to the ghostly former Moghul city of Fatehpur Sikri - the fortified ghost city abandoned soon after its construction because of water shortages in the area.

Day 7: Agra - Bandhavgarh NP

After breakfast we head out to view the magnificent Taj Mahal. Enjoy a guided tour and some free time to explore on your own this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. This afternoon we transfer to the train station for our overnight train to Umaria 15:58/05:24.

Day 8: Bandhavgarh NP

Upon arrival into Umaria, we are met and transferred to Bandhavgarh National Park. This afternoon we enjoy a game drive in a shared jeep or canter. Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan ranges. Claiming to have the highest density population of Bengal tiger in India, coupled with a population of leopard, nilgai, jackal, wild boar, sloth bear, gaur, sambar deer and colourful bird life, game drives are often peppered with sightings.

Day 9: Bandhavgarh NP

Morning and evening games drives in the park by shared jeep or canter.

Morning and evening games drives in the park by shared jeep or canter.

Elephant Safaris are a great way to get closer to the animals.

Day 11: Bandhavgarh NP - Delhi

Morning game drive in the park by shared jeep or canter. This evening we transfer to the train station for our overnight train to Delhi 20:50/14:05.

Arrival Delhi and transfer to your hotel. Remainder of this afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 13: Delhi

Today we bid you farewell with a transfer to the airport to meet your onward flight.
