Day 1: Mumbai
Welcome to India! We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine drive, Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Talao, the Hanging Gardens and Crawford Market.
Day 2: Mumbai - Goa
This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. We will then transfer you to the airport for the flight to Goa. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
Day 3: Goa
Welcome to the palm-fringed shores of Goa. A one time Portuguese colony, Goa is truly a trpical paradise. Leave the world behind as you watch the sun set over the Arabian sea, sample fresh food and seafood, swim in Goa's warm waters or simply soak up the sun!
Day 4: Goa - Hyderabad
We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Hyderabad and on arrival, transfer you to the hotel.
Day 5: Hyderabad
Today we enbark on a full day city tour of Hyderabad including the Golconda Fort, Qutab Shahi Tombs, Salar Jung, Charminar, Mecca Mosque, Ladd Baza.
Day 6: Hyderabad - Kochi
The lure of the tropical Deep South can wait no longer. Today at 12:00 we fly to Kochi arriving there at 13:25 we transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy a tranquil boat ride in Kochi harbour.
Day 7: Kochi - Munnar
Today we drive east to to Munnar - a quaint hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations, that exudes a rare old world charm and reminds one of the days of the Raj in its elegant splendour. At a height of 1525 metres, Munnar offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Enjoy a free day there to wander around see how tea is grown and see spice plantations.
Day 8: Munnar - Ooty
Next stop is the unique hill town of Ooty. While away the day with a relaxed amble and enjoy the mountain views.
Day 10: Ooty - Mysore
We will transfer you to Mysore and check you into you hotel. Time to relax from your scenic drive.
Day 11: Mysore - Bangalore
This morning you have a half day sightseeing tour of Mysore before we transfer you to Bangalore.
