The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel where you can check straight in to your hotel room as we've booked the night of the 5th for you. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. We’ll then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque. This afternoon we further enhance your exploration of this busting city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

Departing Delhi, we journey by car some 5 hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Arriving, we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison! We conclude the day by visiting the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Day 4: Agra - Bharatpur

En route to Bharatpur, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. Arrival and hotel check in, the remainder of the evening at your leisure.


Day 5: Bharatpur - Jodhpur

This morning and afternoon in Bharatpur we visit Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll enjoy bird watching tours by leisurely bicycle rickshaw ride through the park. This evening you will travel to Jodhpur by sleeper train, a must-do experience for any visitor young or old! The friendly locals will be vying for a chat with you.


Day 6: Jodhpur

Your train arrives into Jodhpur in the morning to the start of a new day and the gathering hustle and bustle. Our rep will be waiting for you, but make sure you take a moment to try some chai, hot tea from one of the vendors, before transferring to your hotel. This afternoon we'll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 7: Jodhpur

This morning enjoy an eye opening Jeep excursion to visit Bishnoi villages in the region. The Bishnoi are a eco Friendly sect of Hindu religion, it is one of the different community of Rajasthan who are famous for their rich cultural Rajasthani Life and there true love for nature and animals. Afternoon is at your leisure to explore the city.

Day 8: Jodhpur - Kochi

Morning at leisure, mid afternoon Say farewell to the hustle and bustle of the north and take to the skies flying south to Kerala (Via Delhi) Arriving into Kochi at around 21:00 hrs our local rep will transfer you to the hotel as fast as he can for a good night sleep.

Day 9: Kochi - Munnar

In the morning a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture. Afternoon we drive east to Munnar - a picturesque hill station nestled on the verdant slopes of tea plantations.

Day 10: Munnar

This morning we enjoy a visit to a Tea plantation to see how it is grown, picked and then processed into what we drink! Afternoon at your leisure, highly recommend you to go out for a walk in the surrounding hillside.

Day 11: Munnar - Alleppey

This morning its a scenic 4 - 5 hour drive to Alleppey. Mid afternoon, we board a simply furnished private rice-boat for a journey through the lush backwaters. Our private rice-boat takes us sedately along the enchanting palm-fringed backwaters, during which time the boat glides past local villages and fascinating scenes of everyday rural life. Watch a beautiful sunset over the backwaters and enjoy tasty meals (starting with a late lunch) prepared by the onboard chef using fresh local produce.

Day 12: Alleppey - Kumarakom

Arriving into Kumarakom we disembark the boat and transfer to your hotel. Kumarakom has changed little since the Middle Ages but for it’s string of exotic resorts, making it the perfect place to relax on the backwaters.

Day 13: Kumarakom

This is an ideal place to relax for today and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is also a wonderful bird sanctuary spread across 14 acres, which is a favoured haunt of migratory birds and certainly worthy of a visit if you fancied heading out.

Spend another day relaxing in one of India's most peaceful and beautifully tranquil area's.

Day 15: Kumarakom - Delhi

This morning it's time to leave the beautiful south of India. After breakfast we travel back to Kochi and included transfer to the airport for a flight back to Delhi

Day 16: Delhi

Today is your final full day to do some haggling for antiques, see the lovely buildings and enjoy the sights and sounds of Delhi.

Day 17: Delhi

Today you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight home to London
