Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Delhi International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, our Welcome Meeting takes place. Well then enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi with a thrilling rickshaw ride and jalebi tasting. Visit the impressive Red Fort and Jama Masjid. This afternoon we further enhance your exploration of this bustling city with an afternoon guided journey through the New Delhi area the highlights will include India gate a drive past parliamentary buildings and President's house, a guided visit to Humayun's tomb then concluding with sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Site Qutub minar. We later pay a visit to the Saalam Baalak trust orphanage and conclude the day with dinner at the Qube restaurant.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

This morning a transfer to the train station to partake in one of India's must do experiences, that is travel by train. Sit back and enjoy the approx. 4 hour journey to Agra. Arriving into Agra we head out to explore the Agra Fort and conclude the day with a sunset tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur

En route on our drive to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. Along the way we stop for a tasty lunch and visit Chandra Haveli, a charming haveli (mansion house) with small courtyard, lawned gardens and rustic appeal carefully being restored to the splendour of better farming years. Arriving into Jaipur, unwind at your hotel for the evening.

Day 5: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride (subject to availability) transports us to the lofty fort, where we'll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon we have a journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and thereafter a guided tour of the city palace complex and it’s fascinating nooks and crannies. In the evening we return to the Amber Fort for the spectacular Sound & Light show.

Day 6: Jaipur - Bikaner

Travelling west, our next stop is the 14th century desert town of Bikaner. Along the way on our scenic drive we will have a tasty lunch at Castle Mandawa and an insightful visit to a camel research and breeding farm. Bikaner, once an important staging post on the great caravan routes, much of the atmospheric old town which we will explore is still encircled by massive fortified walls. Within these walls are havelis, artisan shops and people going about their daily lives.

Day 7: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Driving through the Rajasthani Thar desert we arrive at the medieval caravan outpost of Jaisalmer, one of the jewels in India’s crown. Exquisite wood and sandstone buildings dot the town and within Jaisalmer Fort are homes, hotels and shops hidden in ancient laneways.

Day 8: Jaisalmer

Today in this stunning Rajasthani fortress town we'll enjoy some touring of its incredible Jain Temples, the ancient fortress and a desert camel safari on the rolling sand dunes of the mighty Thar Desert.

Day 9: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. Dominated by Meherangarh Fort which sits majestically atop a hill, Jodhpur is known as the Blue City. This is because of the coloured houses in the old town, painted indigo. This afternoon, meet the ethnic group of ecologists—the Bishnois, responsible for the survival of species such as the Black Buck antelope and embark upon a village safari.

Day 10: Jodhpur

This morning we enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower Moti Mahal and Jaswant Thada. This afternoon is free for you to relax or explore independently.

Day 11: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples, which will get to explore up close. We continue to visit Kumbalgarh Fort considered one of India's best preserved ancient forts. Arriving into Udaipur in the evening enjoy a bit of downtime at your hotel.

Day 12: Udaipur

Today, tour the breathtaking City Palace complex and stately gardens, which houses several palaces including a Durbar Hall and forms a single breathtaking façade overlooking Lake Pichola. Following the visit, wander through the markets and bazaar for a feel of the laid-back city. We then head over to see the Jagdish Temple. This evening, embark upon a boat ride on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. From this vantage point, the views across to the Lake Palace and beyond are incomparable. A special Farewell Dinner back at the Neel Kamal Restaurant at the Taj Palace.

Day 13: Udaipur

Sadly your journey through 'Incredible India' has come to an end, we will transfer you to Udaipur airport in time for your flight home.
