Welcome to India and the start of your Indian adventure. Upon arrival from Kathmandu into Delhi you will be met by our local operators and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Delhi.

Today we embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Overnight Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Bikaner

Leaving Delhi you travel by road to Bikaner. As Bikaner is a lengthy drive we have given the option for a rail journey which would depart from Delhi at 08:40 hours in the morning and arrive Bikaner at 16:40 hours. Upon arrival into Bikaner enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Bikaner.

Day 4: Bikaner

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Bikaner. Today you will visit the Junagarh Fort and Museum. The fort was originally called Chintamani and was renamed Junagarh or "Old Fort" in the early 20th century when the ruling family moved to Lalgarh Palace outside the fort limits. This you may visit Deshnoke Temple also known as Rat Temple. Overnight Bikaner.

Day 5: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Saying good bye to Bikaner as you travel by roade to Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer, exotic, remote, and beautiful is a bit of a paradox. Set so deep in the heart of the Thar Desert that one would expect barren near-desolation, this frontier town is today one of Rajasthan's best-loved tourist destinations. Local colour and warmth prevail over the inhospitable and forbidding terrain, imbuing the medieval walled sandstone town that perches dramatically on a flat-topped hill with a special magic. Upon arrival in Jaisalmer enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer

After breakfast enjoy a morning half day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Today you will visit Jaisalmer Fort one of the largest forts in the world. also visit the Jain temples and the Havelis (mansions). This evening enjoy a camel ride on Sam Sand Dunes. Overnight Jaisalmer.

Day 7: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Traveling by road you continue to the city of Jodhpur. Jodhpur is the 2nd largest city in the state of Rajasthan in Northern India. Located at the eastern edge of the Thar Desert, Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha. Jodhpur gave its name to the popular riding trouser that originated here. The city has two popular monikers. The first being ‘Sun City’ due to the frequent bright and sunny weather that the city enjoys. The second and more common being ‘Blue City’ as many of the houses surrounding the Fort are painted blue. After hotel check in spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Jodhpur.

Day 8: Jodhpur

Enjoy a morning half day sightseeing tour of the beautiful city. Today you will visit Mehrangarh situated 400 feet above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Also visit Jaswant Thada and the Clock Tower. This afternoon take a jeep safari to the Bishnoi villages and explore the local handcrafts. Overnight Jodhpur.

Day 9: Jodhpur - Udaipur

En Route to Udaipur you will visit the Ranakpur temples before continuing onto Udaipur where you will spend the night. After check in enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 10: Udaipur

Today partake in a morning tour of this city. Explore the largest palace complex in Rajasthan - the City Palace, with a museum displaying lavish mosaics of peacocks, beautiful mirrorwork and ornamental tiles. Also visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari Garden. This evening enjoy a boat ride at sunset on the Lake Pichola (on shared boat). Overnight Udaipur.

Day 11: Udaipur - Pushkar

Leaving Udaipur you travel by road to Pushkar. This afternoon you will visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple the most important temple in Pushkar, and is in fact the only Brahma temple in the whole of India. Overnight Pushkar.

Day 12: Pushkar - Jaipur

Continue your tour to Jaipur. After hotel check in, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. With its flamboyant showcase of Rajasthani architecture and a firm favourite on tourist itineraries as the third corner of India’s ‘Golden Triangle’, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’. Jaipur was chosen by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743) for his capital. A skilled astronomer and visionary, he worked with superb Bengali architect Vidyadhar Bhattacharya to complete design and construction of Jaipur in less than eight years. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 13: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory before stopping at a cotton weaving house to see a demonstration of fabric dyeing and block printing. Days 14-15: Jaipur - Ranthambhore NP

Jaipur - Ranthambhore. After breakfast on day 14, we have a 3-4 hour drive to Ranthambhore National Park. We check-in, freshen up and then venture out for an evening game drive. Ranthambhore NP is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. On day 15 we enjoy both morning and evening game drives with some time to relax during the day. Day 16: Ranthambhore NP - Agra

En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a glorious golden sunset. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, who tragically died in childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal in Agra is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols. Day 17: Agra - Varanasi

You will be met at the hotel by our representative and driver to transfer you to the airport by a private vehicle for your departure to Khajuraho by flight AI 406. Expected time of departure 13:50 hours. Upon arrival into Khajuraho independently connect your departure flight to Varanasi by flight AI 405. Expected time of departure 15:05 hours. Upon arrival into Varanasi you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Varanasi.

Day 18: Varanasi

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city. The evening is at your at sunset consider re-visiting the ghats for the evening pilgramage, remarkably different from the dawn ritual. Overnight - Varanasi

Day 19: Varanasi

Today is free for you to continue to explore what is considered the holiest city in India your own way as you spend it at your leisure. Overnight Varanasi.

Day 20: Varanasi

Sadly today is your last day with us. You will be transferred to the airport in Varanasi for your departure flight to Delhi. Upon arrival into Delhi at approximately 1620 marks the end of our arrangements with you as you independently connect your flight for your onward destination.
