Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Tour Includes Red fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Parliament house, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb & Lotus temple. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's Palace) (excluding resrticted areas). Tonight - enjoy the sound and light show at Red Fort.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Varanasi (departure from Delhi at 1040). Arrive Varanasi where we collect you from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Evening boat ride on the Holy Ganges to see the devotees at prayer along the banks. Evening Aarti at Ganges.
In the early morning of we will enjoy a boat ride on the holy Ganges River. Departure from Varanasi by road privat transfer to Bodhgaya enroute visiting Sarnath (6 hours drive time).
Today we enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya which will include Mahabodhi Temple, Archaeological Museum, and the Jagannath Temple. We then return to Varanasi.
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Delhi (Departing Varanasi at 1440). Upon arrival here you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Departing Delhi, we journey 5hrs to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. On the way we will visit the tomb of Akbar at Sikandra. Emperor Akbar started the construction of this tomb himself, which was later completed by his son Jahangir. Later we visit Agra fort built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 that contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque and the Baby Taj. Remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Today we rise early to see the Taj Mahal in its ethereal morning light. Enjoy your own time to explore and a guided tour of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Then we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandonded only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area continuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure. Evening free to visit markets if you wish (no guide).
Departure from Jaipur by road in privat transfer to Pushkar. On the way we will visit Ajmer. Visit Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple. Later you can explore the colourful market of Pushkar (without guide).
This morning we will drive you to the famous romantic city of Udaipur. Udaipur, an oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples.
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Including City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Shaliyo ki bari Garden, Bharti lok kala Mandal, Pratap Samarak, Shilp gram.
Today we transfer you about 6 hours to Jodhpur. Along the way we will visit Jain Temples at Ranakpur.
Today we will enjoy a full day touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.
Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including Gadi Sagar Lake, Haveli, Amar Sagar, Jain Temple & Cenotaphs. Later this afternoon we will take you on an exciting camel safari on the Sam sand dunes.
Free morning. You are then transferred to the airport for your flight to Mumbai (departing Jodhpur at 1400). Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The vehicle will be at your disposal until your departure to Aurangabad (Devagiri Express in 1st class AC sleeper) departing at 2105.
Arrival at Aurangabad at 0400 this morning, we will collect you from the station. (Scheduled Checkin at 1200noon). Early checkin subject to availability and hotel discretion. Half Day Ellora Excursion. Visit Daulatabad Fort. Impressive in their own right, are the rock-hewn temples and monasteries of Ellora that lie just 30 kms away from Aurangabad City. In all, there are 34 elaborate cave temples.
Enjoy a full day excursion to Ajanta Caves. Nestling in an inner fold of the Sahyadri hills, 100 kms from the city of Aurangabad in the shape of a mammoth horseshoe are the 30 rock-hewn caves of Ajanta, dating from 2nd century B.C. Carved with little more than a hammer and chisel, Ajanta, once the retreat of the Buddhist monastic orders features several ‘Chaityas’ and Viharas.
Today you are transferred to the train station for your morning train to Mumbai (Jan Shatabdi Express in AC Chair Car) departing at 0600, due in to Mumbai at 1245. We then enjoy a half day sightseeing tour including Gateway of India,Marine Drive,Mani Bhavan,Rajabai ClockTower, Jain Temple, Dhobi Talao, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Crawford Market.
You will be met at the hotel by our representative to escort you to the airport for your departure to Onward Destination.
