Welcome to India and the start of your India holiday with us. After you have passed through customs and baggage collection we will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
Today you will have a half day guided tour of the city, that includes a visit to Government Museum, Santhome Cathedral Church, Kapaleshwara Temple and Marina Beach. We will transfer you to the airport for the flight to Delhi (IndiGo Airlines departing at 17:20 and arriving at 20:00). On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel.
With the morning at leisure, enjoy a later train journey to Ranthambhore (departing at 13:15 and arriving at 19:00). Ranthambhore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Sprawling across an area of some 1334 sq. kms, Ranthambhore is scenically beautiful. Set amidst a beautiful landscape of hills lakes and rivers, the park boasts an impressive 10th century fort.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the national park. Ranthambore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.

We will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to the hotel. After a chance to freshen up, we will head out on a sightseeing tour of the city, including the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-bari. In the evening, you will have an exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola.
We will transfer you to the train station for the train to Jaipur, departing at 06:15 and arriving at 13:25). On arrival we will meet you at the train station and check you into the hotel.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! As today is one of the main days for Diwali and Diwali is all about family and food, we have organised for you to celebrate Diwali with a local family, not only helping with the cooking but also enjoying the meal. Afterwards, we will take you out to see almost entire city illuminated with beautiful lighting and sounds of crackers and lots of festivities around.

This morning we have free time to explore the Pink City at your leisure. This afternoon we will transfer you to the train station for your rail trip back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi we will meet you at the train station and transfer you to your hotel for your final night in India.
