Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India. We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free.
Day 2: Delhi
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. Visit Agra Fort & Sunset visit to Taj Mahal
Day 4: Agra - Orchha
Departure transfer to station for train to Jhansi Shatabdi Express - 08:10 / 10:20 - Air Conditioned Chair Car Arrive Jhansi and transfer to Orchha Afternoon visit of Orchha city
Day 6: Khajuraho - Varanasi
Departure transfer to Khajuraho airport for flight to Varanasi Khajuraho / Varanasi - IT 336- 12:25 / 13:10 Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel Half city sightseeing
Day 7: Varanasi - Lumbini
Morning visit of Ganges with boat ride Drive to Lumbini Enroute visit of Sarnath Half day city sightseeing
Day 8: Lumbini - Chitwan N. P.
Widely acknowledged as one of the finest National Parks in Asia, Chitwan supports a population of a variety of species including Indian one horned rhino, bison, sloth bear, wild boar, leopard and of course the magnificent, Bengal tiger. This evening we enjoy game drive
Day 10: Chitwan N. P. - Pokhara
Today we drive to Pokhara. Perhaps the most stunning of Pokhara’s sights is the spectacular backdrop panorama of the Annapurna range. Although the highest among them is Annapurna (8091m), it is the fish tailed summit of Machhapuchhre (6977m) spectacularly rising behind Lake Phewa that completes the vista.
Day 12: Pokhara - Kathmandu
Driving north, we arrive in Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel. Resembling a medieval city of temples, shrines and living gods, Kathmandu is Nepal’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, a meeting place of a dozen ethnic groups and once the most important points on the caravan routes between Tibet and India. We'll also explore Durbar home to more than 50 stuning Temples and Shrines.
