Welcome to India and the start of your holiday. Our representative will greet you at Delhi airport and assist with your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax after your long flight.
Its an early start this morning to transfer to the station for your 7.40 departure on the Shatabdi Express to Kalka. In Kalka you transfer to the Himalayan Queen Toy Train, arriving into picturesque Shimla at 17.20. You will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel, where you can relax for the evening.
Today we have a long journey from Shimla to Corbett National Park. Taking approximately 10/11 hours, we will have comfort stop along the way. We arrive and check into the The Corbett River View Retreat for a well deserved rest this evening.
Corbett NP India's first established, the star attraction of the park is the tiger. Besides the tiger, you can find other cats such as the leopard, the jungle cat and the fishing cat. The park is also the home for scores of other animals as well, from the deer to the Indian Grey Mongoose. With over 580 species, rare migratory birds that regularly visit the park. Today you will enjoy morning and evening game drives to see the wildlife.
Early this morning we enjoy an elephant ride to catch the last glimpses of wildlife. After lunch, enjoy another jeep safari through the park.
After breakfast and hotel check out, we travel by road back to Delhi and there board the Mewar Express overnight sleeper train in a 1st class cabin to Udaipur, departing at 19.05.
Arriving at 7.20am, our representative will meet you off your carriage and transfers to your hotel. After time to relax and freshen up, this afternoon enjoy a half day city tour including City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Shaliyo ki bari Garden and Bharti lok kala Mandal. This evening you will take ride in an shared boat on Lake Pichola itself.
This morning to free to explore on your own. This afternoon we bid farewell to Udaipur and travel to the airport for your flights to Mumbai where you will be greeted by our local representative and transfers to tour hotel. Evening is at your leisure.
This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Crawford Market and the Hanging Gardens.
Early this morning we fly to Kochi and from the airport transfer to Alleppey where you board your house boat. Sit back enjoy the cozy comfort of a moving boat, watch the country side, ancient Champakulam church and taste local Kuttanadan dishes.
After breakfast and disembarking for your boat, it is a short drive to Mararikulam to check into your beach cottage at Abad Turtle Beach Hotel and the start of a few days rest and relaxation.
After your final breakfast and hotel check out, its time to bid farewell to Incredible India. We will transfer you to the airport in Kochi for your flight home.
