Day 1: Kolkata
Welcome to India and the start of your incredible adventure with On the Go Tours. We will be there at the airport to greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kolkata where the remainder of the day is free.
Day 2: Kolkata
Today you will enjoy a sightseeing tour which includes a visit to the Indian Museum, Jain Temple and Victoria Memorial. Opened by the Prince of Wales in 1921, this imposing vision in marble often called the “Taj” of the British Raj overlooks the grassy Maidan, the city’s green belt.
Day 4: Kolkata - Darjeeling
After a leisurely breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Arriving shortly after midday you will then be transferred to Kurseong where you will board your train to Darjeeling. The scenic rail ride takes around 3 hours. Arriving into Darjeeling around 6pm we will then transfer you to your hotel in time for dinner.
Day 5: Darjeeling
Enjoy a drive to Tiger Hill to catch sunrise over the snowy peaks of Kanchenjunga - the world’s third highest mountain. Continuing, enjoy a visit to the Ghoom Gompa (monastery). The remainder of the afternoon is free for you to explore independently.
Day 6: Darjeeling - Mumbai
After breakfast we transfer to Bagdogra for your flight to Mumbai. Departing Bagdogra at 1pm, the flight arrives Mumbai at 6.30pm, via Kolkata. On arrival into Mumbai you will then be transferred to your hotel.
Day 9: Mumbai
After breakfast and hotel check out we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Trivandrum. Arriving at 1pm you will be met by our driver who will take you to your chosen hotel in Trivandrum where arrangements with On the Go conclude.
