Welcome to India! We will be there to meet you at the airport in Jodhpur, and will transfer you to your hotel. At leisure with vehicle available within city limits.
Today you will enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower. This afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy your hotels facilities or further exploration of the city.
Today we make our way to Udaipur, about 6 hours drive. An oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples. Rest of the day at leisure with vehicle within city limits
This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in a shared boat on Lake Pichola itself.

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.
After a relaxing breakfast we will head off to Agra home to of India's most famous monuments - the Taj Mahal. En route we will also pay a visit to the ghostly former Moghul city of Fatehpur Sikri - the fortified ghost city abandoned soon after its construction because of water shortages in the area. Arriving in Agra you will check into your hotel, and this evneing we take our first visit to India's most iconic monument, with a sunset visit.
This morning we explore Agra and head out to visit Agra fort, built under the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565. It contains numerous palaces and a white marble mosque, with Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb a marble forerunner to the Taj. We also visit the Baby Taj. We then journey to Delhi, about 4.5 hours.
Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more. Rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk.
