Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight. Overnight - The Met Hotel

Day 2: Delhi

Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur

Today we transfer you to the train station for your morning train to Jaipur (0605/1030). Here you will be transferred to your hotel and have the afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style atop an elephant! Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing tour of the city. Rest of the evening is free and at your leisure.

Day 5: Jaipur - Alsisar

Today we drive about 4 hours and make our way to Alsisar. This afternoon you can visit the local Havelis on your own if you wish.

Day 6: Alsisar - Bikaner

Today we make our way to Bikaner.

Day 7: Bikaner

Today you enjoy a half day sighsteeing tour of the town, before having the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 8: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

Today we make our way to Jaisalmer, which is about 6 hours away. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 9: Jaisalmer

Today enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city including the sandstone fort which is an imposing sight, towering magnificently over the city. Later this afternoon we will take you on an exciting camel safari on the Sam sand dunes.

Day 10: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Today, we travel to Jodhpur,the largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur, the Blue City, in reference to the indigo coloured buildings that dot the old city, and the locals belief that blue acts as effective defence against mosquitoes!

Day 11: Jodhpur

Morning at leisure. This afternoon you will enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 12: Jodhpur - Nimaj

Today we continue to Nimaj. This afternoon you can visit the local village on your own if you wish.

Day 13: Nimaj - Deogarh

Today we continue to Deogarh.

Day 14: Deogarh - Udaipur

Today we drive to the romantic city of Udaipur, about 3 - 4 hours. Misty ochre shadowed hills and pale intricate buildings encircle the mirror glass of Lake Pichola and the mythical Lake Palace sitting at its centre. Udaipur is also a centre for performing arts, painting and crafts. Day at leisure.

Day 15: Udaipur - Ahmedabad

This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Ahmedabad, via Delhi. You will then be transferred to your hotel for a free afternoon.

Day 16: Ahmedabad

Today we enjoy sightseeing and we visit Adalaj step-well, Gandhi ashram, Calica museum of textiles, Sidi Sayyad mosque.

Day 17: Ahmedabad - Amritsar

Today we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Amritsar, via Delhi. Upon arrival into Amritsar you will be transferred about 2 hours to Phillaur.

Day 18: Amritsar

Own arrangements today with your friend.

Day 19: Amritsar

Today we collect you and transfer you back to Amritsar.

Day 20: Amritsar

Enjoy a half day city tour which includes highlights such as the Golden temple. This evening you will enjoy a visit to Wagah - the only border crossing between India and Pakistan for the sunset ‘Retreat’ ceremony, where the changing of the guards & ceremonial lowering of the flags is performed with great pomp.

Day at leisure without vehicle (Diwali today - Festival of Lights).

Day 22: Amritsar

Today you have a departure transfer to Amritsar airport for your onward departing flight.
