Travel to Agra this morning in a private air conditioned car, upon arrival we'll help you check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
This morning we rise early to view the magnificent Taj Mahal; ethereal in its morning light. Here you will enjoy exploration time and also a guided explanation of this once powerful Moghul emperor’s monument to love. Following this we visit the Baby Taj and Agra Fort which, which during its time has been a military structure, a palace and a prison!
We visit the awesome, ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water, on the drive to Rathambhore National Park, where we will check you into the hotel.
Ranthambhore National Park is one of the prime examples of Project Tiger’s conservation efforts in Rajasthan. Sprawling across an area of some 1334 sq. kms, the park boasts an impressive 10th century fort. In addition to the Bengal tiger, Ranthambhore is home to wild boar, nilgai, sambar deer and a variety of birds. Tiger spottings are more common in the morning or late afternoon which is when you will enjoy your game drives today.
After our final morning game drive we will depart this wonderful national park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. After a 6 hour drive you will arrive at Jaipur 'The Pink City' enjoy some free time this evening to relax in this bustling Rajastani city.
This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city.
Today we will drive you to Deogarh, just on the outskirts of Jaipur, for a night in Deogarh Mahal.
This morning you will transfer you to the famous romantic city of Udaipur. En-route to Udaipur we stop at Ranakpur at the Jain Temples. You will have time to explore the ruins on your own (no guide). Udaipur, an oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples.
This morning enjoy a tour of the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. The City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. You will also have some free time to explore the palace or perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani arts and crafts before the evening tranquil boat ride on Lake Pichola in a shared boat.
We'll transfer you back to the airport this morning to catch the flight to Delhi (Jet Aiways departing at 16:00 and arriving in Delhi at 17:20). We will transfer you to the hotel.
