Morning enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation. The off straight to the station for the 16:30 train to Amritsar arriving approx. 22:35. Upon arrival we will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to your hotel.
This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the historic Amritsar, including the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. In the late afternoon travel approximately 28km to Wagah, which is the only border crossing between India and Pakistan. The changing of the guards and the ceremonial lowering of the flags ceremony is carried out with great pomp which you will see first hand. Return to your hotel - evening at leisure.
Today we will drive to Dharamshala the journey will be quite long however the scenery passed along the way is very interesting, various stops can be made for photos, food etc. Arriving into town we will take you to the hotel, the evening is then at your leisure.

This morning a transfer to Shimla station to catch the famous toy train to Kalka. Arriving in Kalka you will at your own arrangements switch the platform and board the express train to Delhi. Arriving into Delhi our 21:00 hrs we transfer you to your hotel.
Today, we drive to Jaipur. Affectionately known as the Pink City as Maharaja Ram Singh had all of the Old City painted a welcoming pink in 1876 to herald a visit by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII), it is also the bustling capital of the state of Rajasthan. We enjoy a tour of the City Palace, (watch out for snake charmers that dot our route) and Jantar Mantar - an old yet cleverly designed space observatory.
Enjoy a free morning to explore Agra. En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. Arrival and check into your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Today in Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a glorious golden sunset. Tonight you travel by sleeper train to Varanasi.
Early morning arrival into Varanasi and we will escort you to the hotel. Later enjoy a tour to where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final 'NIRVANA’ at a place called Sarnath. This evening your guide will take you to see the ancient ritual on the river banks in worship of the holy river.
This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing that takes place on the many riverbank ghats (riverside steps). Later, we embark on a tour of the city before your return to Delhi. Arrival and a transfer to an airport area hotel is included.
