Day 1: Delhi

Welcome to Delhi and the start of your holiday. Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Today enjoy a full day sightseeing of Delhi. Delhi is a huge city and one of the oldest on the planet. It is estimated to be over 5000 years old and rebuilt a staggering 11 times. Officially two separate cities, the old city of Delhi and New Delhi are really two parts of one sprawling metropolis. Today you will get a chance to visit both sides to this city as you visit Humayun Tomb, the Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Govt. Buildings. The India Gate and the Jama Masjid India's oldest and largest Mosque. Overnight Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Dharamsala

Taking to the skies today you are transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight to Dharamshala arriving around lunch time you will be transferred from the airport to your accommodation. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure exploring this town. Overnight Dharamshala

Day 4: Dharamsala

Enjoy a full day guided sightseeing of Dharamshala. Dharamshala is synonymous with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan Government in Exile and starting point of some exhilarating treks into the high Himalayas. Today your sightseeing includes a visit to Mc Leodganj, Norbulingka Institute dedicated to handing down tradition and restoring standards to local Tibetans. In this lovely city there are many Temples to visit while touring today you will visit the Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunath Temple and the Brijeshwari Temple one of 52 Shakteepeeths of India. Day 5: Dharamsala - Chandigarh

Traveling South we drive to the city of Chandigarh, a jointly state capital of both Punjab and Haryana but oddly it is part of neither, being a Union Territory administered by India’s federal government. Its history began with Partition in 1947, when the Punjab’s main capital Lahore fell on the Pakistani side of the border, leaving the Indian state of Punjab without a capital. Day 6: Chandigarh - Shimla

This morning we continue travelling to Kalka in time to catch our toy train to Shimla(Departs 12:10 Hours & arrives 1720 Hours). Upon arrival you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your accommodation. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight Shimla.


Day 7: Shimla

Today enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Shimla. Shimla, was the ‘summer capital’ of British India. The natural beauty of Shimla will enchant you, being famous for its stunning sunsets and verdant woods, contrasted with the intriguing English look of the town. Some of your highlights today will be the Visit to Christ Church, Jakhu Temple. Overnight Shimla.

Day 8: Shimla - Varanasi

Returning back to Chandigarh early this morning by road in order to meet your flight to Varanasi via Delhi. Upon arrival into Varanasi you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to you hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Varanasi.

Day 9: Varanasi

Varanasi - a city abundant with temples and labyrinthine streets. In the early morning of we will enjoy a boat ride on the holy Ganges River. Later in the day we embark on a tour of Sarnath. This evening return at sunset re-visiting the ghats for the evening pilgrimage, a little different from the dawn ritual. Overnight Varanasi.

Day 10: Varanasi - Khajuraho

Taking to the skies again you fly to Khajuraho. This evening enjoy to local evening light & sound show. Overnight Khajuraho.

Day 11: Khajuraho

Today take and excursion to the Ken River Lodge a riverside Jungle lodge near Panna National Park. Overnight Khajuraho.

Day 12: Khajuraho - Agra

Boarding your train today you are bound for Agra home to the mighty Taj Mahal. Spend the day watching the scenery wiz by in your Second Ac carriage. Arriving around 1735 you will be met by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight Agra.

Day 13: Agra

Another early morning awaits you this morning as your rise early to watch the sun come up over the Taj Mahal. After returning to your hotel for breakfast we partake in a half days guided sightseeing tour of this spectacular city. You will visit the Agra fort Behind its colossal walls are some of the finest Mughal buildings in India. Construction of the fort commenced during the reign of Emperor Akbar and additions continued to be made until the rule of his grandson Shah Jahan. During Akbar’s time, it was primarily a military fort though later the focus shifted and it partially became a palace. This evening sees your returning to the Taj to watch the sun set over this magnificent structure. Overnight Agra.

Day 14: Agra - Ranthambhore NP

Driving out of Agra we travel towards the home of Shere Khan at Ranthambore. En route we make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory), located in what is now Uttar Pradesh was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and served as the political capital of India's Mughal Empire under his reign, from 1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water. The tremendously atmospheric complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid. Overnight Ranthambore.

Day 15: Ranthambhore NP

Today you are on the hunt for the elusive Bengal Tiger with both morning and afternoon game drives. Overnight Ranthambhore.


Day 16: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

Leaving Ranthambhore you travel by road Jaipur. A flamboyant showcase of Rajasthani architecture and a firm favourite on tourist itineraries as the third corner of India’s ‘Golden Triangle’, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘Pink City’. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 17: Jaipur

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! Later this afternoon enjoy a tour of the Nahargarh Fort and the Jaigarh Fort. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 18: Jaipur - Jodhpur

Saying goodbye to the Pink city of Jaipur to travel to the Rajasthan city of Jodhpur and more commonly known as the ‘Blue City’ as many of the houses surrounding the Fort are painted blue. Overnight Jodhpur.

Day 19: Jodhpur

Enjoy a half day sightseeing to of this city. Todays highlights include a visit to Jasawant Thada a white marble memorial built by Sardar Singh, Ummed Bhawan Palace Museum, Mehrangarh Fort with one way Elevator & Camel ride at Bishnoi Village. Overnight Jodhpur.

Day 20: Jodhpur - Udaipur

En route to Udaipur, you will visit the 14th century Jain temples at Ranakpur. An oasis of cool, with its massive lake and Venetian-like appearance, Udaipur is one of the most romantic towns in Rajasthan. A favourite amongst travellers, Udaipur is crammed full of palaces and temples. Overnight Udaipur

Day 21: Udaipur

This morning enjoy touring the imposing City Palace, a vision in soft yellow stone on the northeast promontory with breathtaking views of the lake. The City Palace is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. We then take you to visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki bari. You will have free time to explore on your own or perhaps shop for colourful Rajasthani arts and crafts. This evening enjoy a cruise along lake Pichola. Overnight Udaipur.

Day 22: Udaipur - Kochi

One of your last early mornings this morning as your are transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Cochin via Mumbai. Upon arrival into Cochin enjoy a half day guided sightseeing tour of this city where you will visit the Jewish Synagogue, St Francis Church and the Dutch Palace. Overnight Cochin.

Day 23: Kochi

Continue your touring of Kochi today as you visit the Chinese Fishing Nets and this evening witness a cultural evening with a Kathakali Dance drama. Overnight Kochi.

Day 24: Kochi - Alleppey

This morning a short drive from Kochi to Allepey brings you to board your house boat. Sit back enjoy the cozy comfort of a moving boat watch the country side, ancient Champakulam church and taste local Kuttanadan dishes.

A day at leisure as you gently cruise through the tropical backwaters on your houseboat.

After breakfast, you'll disembark from the houseboat and be transferred to your hotel in Trivandrum. Enjoy your last day with us at your leisure. Overnight Trivandrum.
