Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to India and the start of your holiday! Arrive at Delhi airport where we will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to relax after your long flight.
Day 2: Delhi
Our half day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi today covers the colourful chaos of Old Delhi. This vibrant city is full of forts, monuments, temples, mosques and more. During the 16th and 17th centuries, Delhi was important centre of the Mughal dynasty and the British made it the capital city in 1911. This afternoon is free or you can add on our New Delhi tour - the the Enhance page for details.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
Departing Delhi, we journey to Agra, once India’s Mughal capital. Here we visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind its fortified walls. We continue on and enjoy a horsecart or rickshaw ride to the legendary Taj Mahal. Built entirely of white marble, the Taj Mahal has no peers.
Day 4: Agra - Jaipur
En route to Jaipur, we visit the ghostly former Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned due to lack of water. We enjoy lunch at Hotel Udai Villas Palace in Bharatpur. After lunch, continue to the Pink City of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. In Jaipur we visit a cotton trading/tailor shop where you can get clothing tailored in time to be delivered to the hotel before we leave Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur
We travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Rest of the day is free. Consider adding on our Japiur Up Close excursion - see the Enhance Your Holiday page for details.
Day 6: Jaipur - Delhi
Returning to Delhi, the latter part of the afternoon is free for you to relax or independently explore more of Delhi.
Day 7: Delhi - Goa
Hotel check out and included onward transfer to airport. Included flight to Goa and transfer to your accommodation.
Days 8-10: Goa
Welcome to the palm-fringed shores of Goa. A one time Portuguese colony, Goa is truly a trpical paradise. Leave the world behind as you watch the sun set over the Arabian sea, sample fresh food and seafood, swim in Goa's warm waters or simply soak up the sun!
Day 11: Goa
Farwell Incredible India! We will transfer you to Goa airport in time for your departure flight.
