Day 1: Mumbai

Welcome to the start of your voyage of discovery through 'Incredible India'! You will be met at Mumbai International Airport by our friendly local team and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or relax as you like.

Day 2: Mumbai

Mumbai or Bombay, as it was formerly known - remains India’s city of dreams. Today we embark on a glittering city tour, with a morning visit to the cave temples of Elephanta Island sculpted during the 5th to the 8th centuries. In the afternoon visit the Prince of Wales museum, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple.

Day 3: Mumbai - Jaipur

Morning transfer to the airport for your flight AI 611 - 0900 / 1040 destined for Jaipur. Arriving here, our local team will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4: Jaipur

This morning you will have to look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. This afternoon enjoy journey of discovery through the historic pink city of Jaipur we start with a photo stop in front of Jal mahal (lake palace) thereafter visit the ancient astronomical observatory of Jantar mantar and then a guided tour of the city palace complex with it’s fascinating nooks and crannies.

Day 5: Jaipur - Agra

En route to Agra, we visit Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. Built between 1569 and 1585, it has been deserted for more than four centuries, by all accounts abandoned in 1600 due to a meagre supply of water. In Agra, we visit the impressive Agra Fort before touring the legendary Taj Mahal and witnessing a glorious golden sunset. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz, who tragically died in childbirth in 1631, the Taj Mahal in Agra is described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love and remains one of India’s most enduring symbols.

Day 6: Agra - Delhi

Today we make our way to Delhi in the morning. Arriving in Delhi we’ll then enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of of the city, taking in the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.

Day 7: Delhi - Haridwar

Today we make our way to the sacred city of Haridwar. Here, enjoy a guided exploration of one of India's holiest cities. Highlights will include the Mansa Devi, ancient Daksh Mahadev and Chandi Devi Temple set upon the banks of the Ganges. In the evening enjoy watching the ceremony in worship of the sacred river Ganges.

Day 8: Haridwar - Delhi

This morning an hours drive leads us to Rishikesh. Here, enjoy a sightseeing tour of this holy city and soak up the views of the majestic Himalayas. Return to Delhi by evening.

Day 9: Delhi

Enjoy the day at your leisure to explore. Perhaps do what many do in Delhi, shop till you drop!

Day 10: Delhi - Chennai

Take to the sky once more today on flight AI 429 1030 / 1315 destined for Chennai. After transfer to the hotel, the day is yours to explore.

Day 11: Chennai

Enjoy a full day excursion to the highlight of the area. First visit Kanchipuram, one of sacred cities in India and then the seaside town of Mahabalipuram, famous for its shore temple. The city is also famous for handwoven silk. In Mahabalipuram, the huge rock-cut sculptures and mandapams (pillared pavilions) date from the 5th to 8th centuries.

Day 12: Chennai - Bangalore

Again you jet set your way across India to Bangalore on flight S2 3390 1010 / 1100 Arriving here meet our local team whom will transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this bustling city in the afternoon. The tour will include Tippu's Summer Place, Botanical Gardens, Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park. Day 13: Bangalore

Today without a guide we have included for you an excursion to Puttaparthy (4 hours drive each way) - Famous owing to the fact it was the residence of the notable spiritual teacher Sathya Sai Baba. Return by evening to your hotel.

Day 14: Bangalore

Enjoy the day at leisure to explore. Nicknamed as the 'garden city' perhaps head out and explore many of its gardens and parks.

Day 15: Bangalore - Goa

Today you make your way to the palm fringed tropical coast of Goa on flight S2 4401 1215 / 1415 - Arriving here our guide will take you on a short tour to see some of the old colonial buildings and churches then check into your hotel. (OVERNIGHT AT THE Ocean Palm Goa *02 Nights with Breakfast in a Palm room)

Day 16: Goa

Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Day 17: Goa - Mumbai

Today you will return to Mumbai on flight AI 660 - 1500 / 1610 our transfer is included in Goa. Arriving in Mumbai and the transfer is arranged by the airport hotel.

Morning transfer arranged by the airport hotel will drop you off at the airport for the flight to Delhi.

Day 19: Mumbai

Today is yours to explore the city at leisure or get some last minute shopping in before you head home.

Day 20: Mumbai

The hotel will return you to the departure hall at the airport in time for your flight home.
