The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India and the start of your eye-opening adventure! Our friendly team will be waiting in the arrivals hall to transfer you to your hotel early check in has been allowed for and pre booked where you can relax for the rest of the day. This afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of Old Delhi taking in the impressive Red Fort - dating back to India’s Mughal period; Jama Masjid mosque - the final architectural extravagance of Emperor Shah Jahan and the colourful, if crowded, Chandni Chowk bazaar.

Day 2: Delhi

This morning, enjoy a tour of New Delhi. Offering a real contrast to the congestion of Old Delhi, open and relatively streamlined New Delhi was built as the imperial capital of India by the British. Highlights include the majestic India Gate, Rajpath and bustling Connaught Place. A visit is also made to Qutab Minar, a massive tower built to proclaim the arrival of Islam in India in the 11th century.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra

This morning we drive to Agra by private car. Stopping at the Vrindavan and Mathura temples along the way. Here you'll discover real insight into the Hindu Religion with both ancient and modern temples of worship dedicated to the god Krishna. You will see the priests perform the worship with the transcendental music they play for the gods providing a unique soundtrack to the event.

Day 4: Agra

With our expert guide explore the once capital of India under the Mughals. We take an exotic horse cart or rickshaw ride to the legendary Taj Mahal. Built entirely of white marble it has no peers. Witness first-hand, the efforts Emperor Shah Jahan went to in constructing the immense mausoleum, stunningly studded with semi-precious stones for his beloved wife, Mumtaz. Visit Agra Fort, which has some of the finest Mughal buildings in India behind its walls, followed by a tour of a marble craft shop.

Day 5: Agra - Jaipur

First stop this morning on our drive to Jaipur is to the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. We then make a stop for lunch in the lovely smaller town of Bharatpur before continuing the journey to the legendary Pink City.

Day 6: Jaipur

In the wee early hours, enjoy a hot air balloon flight over the city. Later an exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty Amber Fort of Jaipur, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Decorate yourself in colourful flowers as we stop to visit a local flower market before exploring the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Later in the day enjoy a walking tour of the bustling Bazaar.

Day 7: Jaipur - Goa

This morning the allure of the Tropical South beckons! We will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight to Goa. Arriving into Goa, meet with our friendly local team who will transfer you to your hotel.

Days 8-13: Goa

Sit back and relax here in this laid back coastal area of India, walk along palm fringed beaches looking for shells and watching the fishermen at work, or simply kick back and enjoy some fresh fruit cocktails served on a silver platter.

Day 14: Goa - Mumbai

Sadly your time of leisure on the beach has come to an end, we will collect you and take you to the airport for your flight to India's city of dreams - Mumbai. Here you will see our driver waiting to take you onto the hotel.

Day 15: Mumbai

Today with our expert guide visit the Prince of Wales museum, India Gate, Marine Drive and the Mani Bhawan Jain temple. Your eye opening journey concludes therafter, with a transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
