Day 1: Delhi - Varanasi

Welcome to Delhi at 03:40 am! We will meet you at the airport and assist with your connection to domestic terminal for the short 09:30 am flight to Varanasi. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city sightseeing tour followed by a guided walk on the river Ghats to see the evening ceremony in worship of the Holy River Ganga.

Day 2: Varanasi

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of cleansing. Later after breakfast we will take you on a guided sightseeing tour to visit the famous Buddhist holy sight of Sarnath. This is where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon to the five holy men; preaching the middleway to final 'NIRVANA’.

Day 3: Varanasi - Khajuraho

This morning you will fly to Khajuraho 9W 723 - 1215 / 1255. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the Chandela Dynasty Temples.

Day 4: Khajuraho - Gwalior

Early morning drive to Orchaa visit this wonderful ancient town and have time for lunch then onward to Gwalior. Arrival and check into your hotel.

Day 5: Gwalior - Agra

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Gwalior's huge fort that was constructed in the 15th century, a vast complex that encompasses several interesting temples, ruined palaces after we visit the deserted Man Singh Palace and its subterranean rooms is a definite highlight, as is learning from your guide about the innovative 15th century design features. Continue onto Agra check into your hotel. Evening visit to the Taj Mahal.

Day 6: Agra - Ranthambhore NP

This morning 05:30 am drive to Ranthambore National Park. Arrival and check into your hotel. Enjoy an evening game drive. (must arrive by 14:00 for game drive) (train is possible to RTB however peak month for fog train is bound to be delayed and you would not arrive on time for the game drive)


Day 7: Ranthambhore NP - Jaipur

Today enjoy 1 morning and 1 afternoon game drives in Ranthambore National Park in shared jeeps or canters. After the last game drive AT SUNSET we will drive to Jaipur (4 hrs). Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: Jaipur

Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.

Day 9: Jaipur - Jodhpur

An interesting drive through increasingly varied scenery takes us to Jodhpur, a town at the edge of the mighty Thar Desert. We’ll enjoy some touring in this colourful Rajasthani city, taking in the mighty fort and bazaars of the old city which are gathered around the city’s tall clock tower.

Day 10: Jodhpur - Udaipur

Leaving Jodhpur, we drive to Ranakpur, a small town tucked away in a remote valley and famed for its beautiful 14th century Jain temples. We’ll enjoy some free time for exploration (no guide at Ranakpur) here then continue onto Udaipur. Arriving in the evening.

Day 11: Udaipur

This morning will consist of an orientation and sightseeing tour of Udaipur - including the City Palace and museum - before having a few hours in the afternoon to explore for yourselves. This evening you will take ride in an private boat on Lake Pichola itself.

Day 12: Udaipur

Today we transfer you to the airport in time for your direct morning flight to Mumbai. Arrival in Mumbai end of our arrangements.
