Day 1: Kathmandu

Namaste! Welcome to Nepal! After you have cleared customs and passport control we will transfer you directly to the hotel to check in, freshen up and relax after your long flight.

This morning you will enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu, which will include Swayambhunath, Kastha Mandap and Kumari Devi, We'll also explore Durbar Square which is home to more than 50 stunning Temples and Shrines. This afternoon we visit the Tibetan refugee camp and here you can see many of the cottage industries they are involved in. Overnight - Shangri La Hotel

Day 3: Kathmandu - Chitwan N. P.

This morning enjoy a scenic flight over Mt Everest after we go by private car to Chitwan National Park, arriving in the afternoon. Chitwan is hailed as one of Asia’s finest game parks and contains many animals including elephants and rhinos, sloth bears and striped hyenas. Afternoon free time to book and pay locally at the hotel for a number activities such as game drives, nature walks and more. Overnight - Shangri La Hotel

Day 4: Chitwan N. P.

Day 5: Chitwan N. P. - Pokhara

Today travel by private car to spectacular Pokhara, gateway to the magnificent Annapurna Range, which consists of five mountains over 7200m including the Machhapuchare, which although falling short of 7000m, is one of the most extraordinary mountains due to its unique ‘fishtail’ peak. Upon arrival this afternoon, spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight - Machan Paradise View

Day 6: Pokhara

An early start as we drive to Sarangkot enjoying the sunrise views of the landscapes and mountains and observing local people, villages and farms. After breakfast we visit the thundering waterfall known as Devi’s falls where the Pardi River, which drains Phewa Lake, enters a grottoed channel and sinks underground in a sudden rush of foam and fury. Day 7: Pokhara

There is some free time to participate in optional activities such as paragliding, mountain biking, cycling,boating and horse riding, or if you prefer why not unwind down by the lake. Overnight - Shangri La Village

Day 8: Pokhara - Kathmandu

This morning you fly to Katmandhu - Arrival transfer to your hotel - free afternoon to explore. Overnight - Shangri La Village

Day 9: Kathmandu - Varanasi

A transfer today to the airport for your direct flight to Varanasi. Arriving into Varanasi at 15:05 we transfer you to your hotel. This evening your guide will take you for a guided walk along the river front to see the evening ritual worship of the holy river Ganga. (TODAY MUST BE A Tue/Thu/Sat/Sun) Overnight - Shangri La Hotel

Day 10: Varanasi

This morning, we enjoy a sunrise boat ride on the holy Ganges where we’ll view the ancient religious tradition of ritual cleansing. After breakfast at the hotel enjoy leisurely city tour to take in the key places of importance. This afternoon we visit Sarnath which is where Buddha made his first Sermons preaching the middle way to Nirvana. Overnight - Palace on Ganges

Day 11: Varanasi - Khajuraho

This morning you will fly to Khajuraho 9W 723 - 1215 / 1255. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of the Chandela Dynasty Temples. Overnight - Palace on Ganges

Day 12: Khajuraho - Orchha

Morning drive to Orchha. Arrival enjoy a guided orientation then remainder of the day free to explore. Overnight - Chandela

Day 13: Orchha - Gwalior

When ready we drive onward to Gwalior (recommend leave afternoon). Arrival and check into your hotel. Overnight - Amar Mahal

Day 14: Gwalior

This morning we enjoy a guided tour of Gwalior's huge fort that was constructed in the 15th century, a vast complex that encompasses several interesting temples, ruined palaces after we visit the deserted Man Singh Palace and its subterranean rooms is a definite highlight, as is learning from your guide about the innovative 15th century design features. Overnight - Usha Kiran Palace

Day 15: Gwalior - Agra

This morning we continue by road to Agra. Arrival and check into your hotel. Evening visit to the Taj Mahal with guide and free time to enjoy the romantic sunset before transfer back to your hotel. Overnight - Usha Kiran Palace

Day 16: Agra - Kochi

Morning drive to Delhi airport for your flight to Kochi via Mumbai. Arriving at latest by 17:00 we will transfer you to your hotel. Overnight - Radisson Hotel

Day 17: Kochi - Alleppey

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town including the beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church. A walking tour of Fort Cochin takes you through streets still graced with traces of Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial architecture. Later we transfer you to embark your house boat for lunch and sail the backwaters. Overnight - The Killians Boutique Hotel
