Today we explore both Old and New Delhi - the order of New Delhi is a huge contrast to the unorganised chaos of the Old City. But both are just as appealing. Highlights we be the impressive Red Fort, Jama Masjid - India’s oldest and largest mosque, Raj Ghat - the site of Gandhi’s cremation and more.
Morning 06:10 am train to Agra. Arriving into Agra we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. After time to relax for a while your guide will take you to visit Agra fort, which boasts some of India’s finest Mughal buildings behind it’s fortified walls. During its history it has been a palace, a fort and a prison!After a guided tour of the Taj Mahal before driving onto Gwalior.
Enjoy a half day tour of the many forts and palaces here in the city. Afternoon free to explore. This evening enjoy the sound and light show at Gwalior Fort.
Free day to further explore Gwalior. Later transfer to Bharatpur station for the Kota Jan Shatabdi Train - 1543 / 1800 to Sawai Modhpur - Arrival transfer to your hotel.
For today and tomorrow enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in a shared jeep or canter. In between the game drives you have lots of time to relax and enjoy the facility of the resort.
After our final morning game drive we will depart from this wonderful park hopefully having seen some of the elusive tigers. Today we will head to Jaipur. Arriving here check in and relax at your hotel.
Look out for the snake charmers that dot our route, as we travel to the 16th century Amber Fort. An exotic elephant ride transports us to the lofty fort, where we’ll enjoy a tour of this Rajput extravaganza. Later in the afternoon we tour the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory.
