The grand entrance into Delhi's famous Red Fort

Day 1: Delhi

Namaste! Welcome to India and New Delhi the capital city of India. We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel with the rest of the day yours to relax after your long flight.

Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur

Transfer to railway station for train to Agra (Bhopal Shtabadi, 0615/0800, Executive Chair car). Arrive Agra and visit famous Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Later on we will take a drive out to the ghostly fortifed city of Fatehpur Sikri, abandoned only 8 years after its construction due to droughts in the area continuing on you will arrive in to Jaipur 'The Pink City'.

Day 3: Jaipur - Delhi

This morning we visit the delicate pink, magnificent fort-palace of Amber - a wonderful example of Rajput architecture just north of Jaipur. Subject to Government regulations, we will arrive in style riding on an elephant! In the afternoon you will enjoy a tour of the city. Highlights include the City Palace, which boasts an interesting museum of regal attire and Jantar Mantar, an ancient astronomical observatory. Later on we drive back to Delhi

Day 4: Delhi - Varanasi

Transfer to airport for internal flight to Varanasi (SG 116, 0855/1010, Economy) Arrive Varanasi, transfer to hotel. Later on enjoy a city tour and evening Aarti ceremony

Day 5: Varanasi - Haridwar

Early morning boat ride at Ganges. Transfer to airport for flight to Delhi (SG 233, 1040/1204, Economy) Arrive Delhi, Car at diposal (for lunch etc) Transfer to railway station for train to Haridwar (DDN Jan Shtabadi, 1525/1935, AC Chair Car) Arrive Haridwar, transfer to hotel

Day 6: Haridwar - Delhi

Morning sightseeing tour of Rishikesh. Transfer to railway station for train to Delhi (Dehradhun Shtabadi, 1813/2245, Executive Chair Car) Arrive Delhi, transfer to hotel

Day 7: Delhi - Mumbai

Transfer to the irport for your internal flight to Mumbai (SG 109, 1010/1215, Economy) Arrive Mumbai, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

Day 8: Mumbai

Enjoy a half day sightseeing tour one of the most highly populated cities in the world, accommodating approximately 18 million people! Highlights include the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine drive, Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Talao, the Hanging Gardens and Crawford Market.

Day 9: Mumbai

This morning after breakfast we take the cruise to visit Elephanta caves - Mumbai's premier tourist attraction. The rock-cut temples on peaceful Elephanta Island are thought to have been carved between 450 and 750 AD. The main cave contains large sculpted panels, including an astonishing 18-foot depiction of Shiva. Later on we will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home
